Defeating Dream Amnesty - Vote breakdown
Just an interesting observation: Harry Reid voted NAY?!... Hmmm
I'm in Reno NV; so I was - to say the least- surprised.
Interesting political move for Harry.
Thank God they fell 4 votes short, since we're still in the minority. :P

Reid voted no so he can bring this up for a vote again in the future. As Majority Leader, Reid has the option to bring the cloture motion up again at any point. He stated that he is determined to get dream act amnesty through this year.

The DIShonorable Reid...
He needs to visit Pacifica (coastal CA by Daly City near SF county) and take a long walk off a short pier.

He did this so as to be on the majority side, that way he can bring it up at a later date. so tell all your friends to watch the time between the november elections and the January swearing in of the new elected officials because that is when Reid will try again.
watch this lame duck session. its going to be a doozy
