Carrie, please don't buy into the Minuteman bashing. The MM are right to go to those day worker sites and demand to see documents (although any docs are probably counterfeit or stolen anyhow). This is exactly what employers should be doing.

The media is largely against the MM, I really don't care what 99% of the media says.

The cops tangling with the MM instead of the illegals just shows how screwed up things have become. Maybe seeing that in the paper will show some fencesitters just how bassackwards the whole situation is.

Don't get me wrong. I ADORE the Minutemen and applaud everything they do. It's just that they have to be careful not to do things that hurt our cause more than help it.

I don't think that there's any law aganist a private citizen asking just someone if they're illegal. And if the MM said they didn't do it I tend to believe them over the illegals. The Minutemen are pretty strict on their no contact policy.

If you see a crime it is your civic duty to turn that crime in to the proper officials, the problem is, the proper officials have their hands tied by apologists................. The minute men are protecting our borders from law breakers and apologists. PERIOD.

Carrie, you should realize that the IA's advocates coach them to make up crap about the MM. The MM are beyond their influence and scare the hell out of them, so all they can do is make up stuff to try to discredit civilian oversight.

The media has been MM bashing since the beginning. I find that most of the stories done by the media are sympathetic stories about the illegals. Many of the the people in the media consider thmselves the fifth arm of Government. That is an actual quote that I got from a 60 Minutes producer a few years back. In my opinion, the people that are telling us whats happening and trying to influence our thinking are a bunch of Limosine Liberals.

We are currently working on a post where there have been 21 incident of this happening within a month.

Many times we never see any of the footage we like aired. Such is true of the piece that aired on Greta's program the other night. That piece did little to explain or advance our cause, or draw people in to the debate. I felt that I had let everyone down. Then someone sent me this link & I think it makes up for it.

So please send this around, not because it is me, but because it gives others a rare insight into why so many of us have devoted so much for so long.
