DENNIS KUCINICH TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT...AGAIN

    Latest news for ALIPACERS...

Cleveland Congressman Dennis Kucinich plans to announce a run for President Tuesday.

He is expected to say he plans to run again due to the War in Iraq. But Kucininch cannont even keep crime under control in his own Ward let alone solve the Iraqi problem.

He will go down in flames again...to the dismay of his Hollywood friends and misguided supporters.

I bet he is furious that the inexperienced newcomer US Senator Obama is getting so much press attention while he is ignored.

Kucinich is a real mixed bag. While I agree with his calls to withdraw from NAFTA and GATT and his desire to repeal the Patriot Act, he is far too much of a big-government Socialist otherwise. He favors universal healthcare, opposes the death penalty and seeks its elimination, opposes privatization of Social Security, wants to ratify the extremely one-sided Kyoto Protocols, and wants to end the war on drugs. He also favors a feel-good bit of nonsense in seeking the creations of a cabinet position called the "Department of Peace."

Kucinich's early political career as mayor of Cleveland was marked by bitter feuds with other branches of city government, including the police department and the city council, and by an authoritarian governing style that ended up subjecting him to a recall election that he survived by just a couple of hundred votes.

And of course, he's an amnesty monkey...

I first met Dennis in the late 70's. I campaigned one time with his first wife while he was mayor.

Those were my early political days.

Dennis's problem is that the horrible life he had growing up is a double edge sword. He would not sell his vote but he would spend every dime in the treasury on social projects that wouldn't work, just bankrupt the country (well it's really bankrupt now). He'd just make it worse.

Dennis creates problems (like supporting illegals) and then gets on TV to complain about crime and loss of jobs. He doesn't (nor do the voters who elect him) connect the dots between policies he supports and the problems they cause down the road.

He can say NO to corporations but not to socialist advocacy groups that use him to advance their desire to end capitalism in the US.
