    Deny Pensions to Congressional Crooks

    From Newsmax:

More than 20 citizen groups are urging the new Democratic leaders in Congress to include in any ethics reform the denial of pensions to lawmakers convicted of felonies.

"We must end the practice of rewarding lawmakers who abuse the law with plush pension packages funded by the American taxpayer," the coalition wrote in a letter to be sent Thursday to Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Harry Reid, who will become Speaker of the House and Senate Majority Leader when Democrats assume control of Congress in
    January.
With all the crooked politicians we have have in Washington, this would be a windfall for the American taxpayer!

Neither Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi will ever bring such proposal to the floor for a vote. It would be the kiss of death for their lifetime pension!!
"Send them Back." "Build a damn wall and be done with it."

They should not be getting any pensions if they are corrupt. Furthermore, none of them should be allowed to run for office if they are under investigation...or if they even have a hint of corruption ...like in theMurtha video I recently saw... sure he didn't take the money, he just routed it in a different direction...and kept saying, "but maybe in the future?????" We need people like this AND OTHERS WHO ARE CORRUPT...with evidence IN OFFICE and receiving benefits for life!
We need to change some things in this government...that will SAVE the taxpayer a lot of money! THEY SHOULD ALSO HAVE THE SAME MEDICAL BENEFITS AND SOCIAL SECURITY PLAN THAT WE DO!!!!
And by the way....since the American people ARE THEIR BOSS...shouldn't we be the ones VOTING on whether or not THEY get a RAISE?????
As I was told by my congressman, Bob Beauprez...THEY VOTED SEVERAL YEARS AGO THAT THEIR RAISE IS AUTOMATIC. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE TO VOTE FOR IT NOW...since they voted to make it automatic several years ago. But they have denied us, citizens of the middle and lower class..........NO for several years!!!!

Please help save America for our children and grandchildren... they are counting on us. THEY DESERVE the goodness of AMERICA not to be given to those who are stealing our children's future! ... and a congress who works for THEM!

Senator Reid is a crook. He has ties with Abramoff and Foley for sure. I can't believe why lawmakers haven't nailed him yet. He is a sniveling rat, and deserves nothing more than to rot away in a cold dark prison somewhere.

Reid is on shakey ground on the ethics issues. He's made millions on shady land deals recently. I'd love to see him do the perp walk.
