I encourage everyone to read this "Annual Flow Report" from DHS and draw your own (obvious) conclusions.

A few things jump out at me:

**Figure 1. Look at how the LPR (Legal Permanent Resident) number dropped dramatically during the 1930s depression years. Then compare this to today's continuing very high LPR flow (still well over 1,000,000 annually) -- in this era which Obama calls the "worst since the Great Depression."

    -----
    -----

**Table 2 Legal Permanent Resident Flow by Major Category of Admission. For 2008:

    -Family-sponsored immigrants: 716,244

    vs.

    -Professionals with advanced degrees: 70,046

    ------
    ------

**Table 3 LPR Flow by Region and Country of Birth:

    -Mexico 2006: 13.7%

    -Mexico 2008: 17.2%

Mexico has the highest % by far of any country. Compare their % to our northern neighbor's (Canada) which was 1.4% last year.

Looks like a whole lot of marriage for green card fraud going on. In fact I know of one Chinese guy who did that, but then luckily for us he moved to France!
