DHS Secretary: Right-Wingers Pose Same Threat As Islamic Extremists

DHS Secretary: Right-Wingers Pose Same Threat As Islamic Extremists

One month after the San Bernardino terrorist attack that left 14 innocent people dead, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson told advisors that right wing extremists pose just as much of a threat to the country as Islamic extremists.
Johnson made the comments during the Homeland Security Advisory Council’s (HSAC) January meeting. City of Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo, whom Johnson appointed to HSAC, shifted the discussion to the threat of right-wing extremists, according to the official meeting minutes.
Do Right-Wingers Pose The Same Threat As Islamic Extremists?

    Yes No

“Member Acevedo reminded the Council that the threat from right-wing extremists domestically is just as real as the threat from Islamic extremism,” the minutes state. Johnson echoed the sentiment. “Secretary Johnson agreed and noted that CVE [Subcommittee on Combating Violent Extremism], by definition, is not solely focused on one religion,” the minutes state.
Another council member, Cardinal Point Strategies CEO Paul Goldenberg, joined the chorus.
“Member Goldenberg seconded Member Acevedo’s remarks and noted the importance of online sites in right wing extremist communities, not only in America but worldwide,” the minutes state.
The meeting was also attended by the co-chairs of HSAC’s Subcommittee on Combating Violent Extremism.
As originally reported by The Daily Caller on Monday, a report published by that subcommittee last week urged DHS to avoid using the words “sharia” and “jihad” (among others) when discussing terrorism, in order to avoid offending Muslims.
At the meeting in January, Subcommittee Co-Chair Adnan Kifayat “emphasized that the report will be respectful of the communities it seeks to engage with, and will take into account those communities specific needs.”
As originally reported by TheDC, one of the current sitting members on the subcommittee is a 25-year-old Syrian immigrant who has consistently disparaged America, free speech and white people on social media. That member, Laila Alawa, also publicly stated that the September 11 attacks “changed the world for good.”
Edit: An earlier version of this story name Art Acevedo as the Mayor of Austin. Acevedo is the Chief of Police.

We have our own extremists, there's no question about that. We have our own wackos, mentally ill, confused and yes even evil people. No one has ever said otherwise. The difference is that when we are killed, terrorized, tortured, brutalized by our own, they are our responsibility, it goes with our territory because they are of our territory. When we are killed, terrorized, tortured, brutalized by those not of our own territory, not of our own people, then these are deaths that are not our responsibility, they are not our responsibility, because they are not of our territory but of another.

Some will say, "but some of these terrorists are US citizens", and they may be. We don't really know. But if they are, it's because they were granted citizenship by a US Supreme Court Ruling in a strange case that ruled against the best interest of the American People and made a foreigner who didn't even live here, but was born here, a citizen of the US.

Thee are strange rulings in our court history, rulings made out of bias, out of hate, out of fervor, out of everything and anything, but the law and Constitution, and all rulings so far by the US Supreme Court with regard to immigrants has been just that. Hopefully, we'll see some changes such that Plyler vs Doe, a case that required our public schools to educate illegal aliens at US taxpayer expense, and the totally absurd Kim Von Ark Case, that uses the 14th Amendment that was made to grant birthright citizenship to children of African slaves who wee not citizens at the time of the birth of their children because they were slaves and had no nights, to grant citizenship to some Chinaman whose parents came here for awhile, had him, then left the US and returned to China, the same right of birthright citizenship that as children of African slaves.

It's outrageous. And I'm sure there are many other court rulings as equally absurd and harmful to our nation.

That is the catch with pushing to deny guns to terrorists - they do not mean islamic terrorists but Americans that they determine are terrorists for something as simple as speaking your mind on a blog. that will force citizens into submission as they have done in EU. Rape your children & women, beat you, rob you, no police or arrests and you can't speak out about it.

Once they get their ban passed, they will find away to take American's guns whilst they keep the terror lists scrubbed of names like they already have done. The gov't obviously is our enemy & wants to destroy us. The millions of illegals, jihadists muslims are in this country because they want it that way.

They are phasing out the citizens of America to make way for NWO. All patriotism is thrown out the window.

You are absolutely right, artist. And that's becoming more clear every day. This news about this terrorist being removed from the Terror Watch List despite 3 separate investigations since 2014 has just blown my mind. Someone requested he be removed, perhaps a big Saudi donor to Clinton. He went to Saudi Arabia twice since 2010 or 2011. Then in 2013, he's talking at work about killing people, is reported, is investigated, then again in 2014, investigated again, and then somewhere along the line investigated a 3rd time.

Yet, he's removed from the Terror Watch List? And "scrubbed" is the right word for it. That was an intentional deal, under orders from "someone" at the request of "someone" big and/or with big money.

That needs to be investigated deep into its bowels and colon. This stinks to high heaven.

Homeland floats 'national security' as excuse to take guns

Obama appointee signals new strategy for executive action

    6/14/16 Bob Unruh
    Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson
( blatant scoundrel along with l lynch - how do they allow these appointees??? - duh - can't wait till both are thrown out on their arse)

The Obama administration has tried repeatedly to push more gun control through Congress, unsuccessfully. It still is trying its hand at a strategy of simply depriving people of their Second Amendment rights.

Now it is signaling a new method, claiming that “gun control” is “part and parcel” of the federal government’s responsibility for homeland security.

It was presented by Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson during an appearance on CBS, when he made the claim no less than three or four times that gun control is now “part and parcel” of his agency’s responsibilities.

“I do believe,” he said, “that meanginful, responsible gun control is now part and parcel of homeland security.”

He continued, “It’s critical to public safety. We have to face the fact that meaningful, responsible gun control has to be part of Homeland Security. It’s coming I think the American public has to face.”

    Hear him: video at link

Obama pulled out all the stops several years ago to impose new gun control in the United States following the Sandy Hook school shooting tragedy. He’s also used regulations in a number of ways to deprive people of gun rights.

In fact, WND reported only this week that there’s a pending public comment period for a proposed rule that would strip gun rights from an estimated four million or more Americans, without any adjudication.

This infallible argument for armed self-defense presents real stories of Americans fighting back against criminals – and surviving because they were armed. “America Fights Back: Armed Self-Defense In A Violent Age” is a must-read for anyone who has ever wondered if concealed carry can actually save and protect.

The administration already used a similar maneuver to begin removing gun rights from America’s veterans.

And it has prompted warnings that others getting any sort of payment from the federal government soon could be targeted similarly.

“They could go after student loan recipients. What about people getting food stamps? Medicaid? Potentially anybody working for any government contractor,” a critic warned.
Following last weekend’s attack by a radical Muslim on a homosexual bar in Florida, where more than four dozen were killed and at least as many injured, Democrats have begun demanding bans on some people buying “assault weapons,” although the long gun used in Orlando’s attack was a common rifle.

Responding to a question, Johnson told CBS depriving people of the right to buy – based on suspicion that puts them on a watch list, is “something that has to be addressed.”

At the Wall Street Journal, Julian Routh wrote that presidential candidates in the 2016 White House race are on opposite sides.

While Democrat Hillary Clinton called the rifle “weapons of war” and said they should not be on streets, GOP candidate Donald Trump rejected calls for more restrictions.

CBS reported the nation already has a no-fly list based on suspicion, and Johnson believes a no-buy list might be feasible.

Johnson described Obama as “frustrated” but still “determined” on the issue.

He not the only one exhibiting frustration. On Monday, Democrats in Congress shouted at House Speaker Paul Ryan, “demanding to know why the House isn’t considering gun control legislation,” according to a report.

Katie Pavlich at TownHall wrote, however, about the irony of the suggestion.

The Orlando shooter was employed by G4S security as a licensed, professional guard and authorized to carry a firearm on duty.

And the company holds contracts with the DHS to protect federal buildings and critical facilities such as nuclear sites.

Further, the Muslim terrorist was interviewed by the FBI several times.

“At no point were his security credentials revoked. Maybe instead of focusing on gun control, Johnson should be focused on not allowing DHS contracted companies to employ those under FBI investigation for terrorism,” Pavlich suggested.

They are so worried about "trained marksmen" veterans but no word @ radical islamists - the move is to disarm Americans and take 2nd amendment rights away so we can be helpless to all the inbred schizos they are importing into America.

Actually, be careful @ submitting to gov't call for comments as you could be put on a LIST.

Here's how to sound off on Obama's newest anti-gun plan

Public given chance to tell administration what's wrong

    Published: 2 days ago (6/13/16

The fight over the Second Amendment and gun rights in America probably hasn’t been more intense in the last 10 years than it is right now, in the wake of a Muslim using a rifle and a handgun to kill at least 49 people at a “gay” bar in Florida over the weekend.

And coincidentally, Gun Owners of America is noting that right now, Americans have an opportunity to sound off to their own government about Barack Obama’s newest gun restriction proposal.

“Barack Obama understands it is the Second Amendment community that has destroyed his legacy,” the organization explains. “And now, like a rabid dog, he is lashing out in an effort to destroy as many law-abiding gun owners as possible.”

His newest plan would be to abruptly take Second Amendment rights away from a vast class of Social Security and government benefit recipients – anyone with help managing their government benefits and a wide range of other individuals.

The change would make it a crime, instantly, for those individuals to have guns.

“The regulation promises to aggressively search for and take away the gun rights of Social Security Disability recipients with PTSB, ADHD, post partem depression, Alzheimer’s, etc.,” the report said.

The group has posted online instructions about how to go to the government’s regulations website and submit your comments.

“The bottom line is that Barack Obama now proposes to turn hundreds of thousands of law-abiding senior citizens into instant felons, subject to fifteen year jail terms,” the organization explained. “Obama concedes that ‘75,000’ seniors would be turned into felons, but anyone who thinks the impact of this proposal can be contained at 75,000 grandmas and grandpas may want to remember Obama’s ‘You can keep your doctor’ track record of veracity.”

The report said, “Even the Los Angeles Times last year suggested the figure could be as high as four million seniors.”

Gun Owners reports that there is an option to dispute the government’s decision to withdraw Second Amendment rights on a case-by-case basis, but it could cost an individual “at least $10,000.”

“You probably don’t know this and probably don’t care: But octogenarians are not a high-crime demographic. Very large numbers of them have firearms which they intend to pass on to their children, however,” the report said.

The Los Angeles Times had reported earlier the Obama administration is pushing to ban Social Security beneficiaries from owning guns if they “lack the mental capacity to manage their own affairs.”

That is a virtual copy of a Veterans Administration plan, as WND has reported, being used against military veterans by the Obama administration.

Michael Connelly of the United States Justice Foundation has been working on the VA case since several veterans contacted him to say they had been determined incompetent without a hearing and wanted to fight back.

According to the Social Security plan, the federal benefit recipients would be told they are incompetent and can no longer have weapons. Their names would be added to the National Instant Criminal Background Check system, which is used by governments to keep weapons out of the hands of felons, drug addicts, illegal aliens and others.

An estimated 4.2 million adults get Social Security payments that are managed by “representative payees,” and for a wide range of reasons.

The Times said the move is part of an effort launched by the Obama administration after the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, to strengthen gun control.

After Congress shot down virtually every legislative change Obama wanted, the president began to makes changes through rewriting rules and definitions.

Connelly had told WND that if the government is successful in its restrictions on Social Security recipients, there will be other targets soon.

“They could go after student loan recipients. What about people getting food stamps? Medicaid? Potentially anybody working for any government contractor,” he warned.

He said he’s been warning on his blog since that the Social Security move was coming.

He said the government was using veterans “as guinea pigs to develop methods that can be used to steal their constitutional rights.”

“Veterans get the letter from the VA telling them that because of physical or mental disabilities they are going to be declared incompetent to handle their own financial affairs, and the VA will appoint a fiduciary for them. The veterans are given 60 days to prove they are competent, which is a direct violation of the due process clause of the Constitution that requires the burden of proof be on the government,” he wrote.

“In none of the cases that we know of has there been an adjudication process with a hearing before a judge or an administrative judge. Nor have the veterans in most cases been examined by a psychiatrist, psychologist or even an MD,” he continued. “[Then Attorney General]-Eric Holder decided that anyone who works for the VA can declare veterans incompetent for any reason including having their bills paid automatically out of their bank accounts.”

WND broke the story that the Obama administration insisted it was routine for officials to send out letters informing veterans that an unidentified “report” indicated they may be declared incompetent and consequently stripped of their Second Amendment rights.

It’s the same administration that in 2009 warned that “returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists.”

The 2009 report from the Department of Homeland Security was called “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.” It also said Obama’s governmental managers were “concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities.”

Nothing has changed since 2009, except that the administration now has a proven track record of discrimination. IMO
Homeland Security document targets most conservatives and libertarians in the country

April 12, 2009 Stephen Gordon Fascism in America, The Surveillance State, War on Terror
Thousands of racists and terrorists rally at Cincinnati Tea Party
Remember that now-retracted Missouri Information Analysis Center report which stated that small-government types (specifically Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin supporters) were potential terrorist threats? According tothis new Homeland Security report, all it takes to fit the terrorist profile is to have general anti-government feelings or prefer local/state government to federal control over everything.
The federal Homeland Security Department document entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Environment Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment” contains the following definition:
Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.
Also targeted in the report are veterans, folks anticipating additional restrictions to their Second Amendment rights, and those concerned about the loss of U.S. sovereignty.
This report implies that one harboring these sorts of views is a racist as well as a potential terrorism suspect.
UPDATE: Sorry for the delay in responding to questions about the authenticity of the DHS report. We had a freakish storm last night which blew down a lot of very large oak trees in my neighborhood. At the moment, we are cooking on propane and charcoal, are running a 3000 watt generator to keep food from spoiling, etc. I just rerouted all of the home networking equipment and moved it so it can be powered by the generator, so I finally have Internet access again.
With respect to the report, I have no absolute proof it is legit, but I searched around the Internet and couldn’t find any site debunking it. It came to me from a reasonably reliable source by e-mail. It looks authentic and passes the sniff test of someone who has read far more than his share of government reports.
I figure that if this ends up being a hoax, it’s such a clever one that it is newsworthy in and of itself. It’s probably legit, though. Sometimes a blogger has to go out on a limb until such things can be absolutely verified. That’s what’s so great about the Internet — we have an open source forum to investigate matters such as this.
If someone finds anything which verifies the authenticity of this document or indicates that it’s a clever hoax, please let me know.
UPDATE II: The AmSpecBlog has picked this up, as well as RedState, PoliGazette, Homeland Security Watch, The Other McCain, Independent Political Report, Moe Lane and Cold Fury.
UPDATE III: Michelle Malkin verifies the document here. RedState’s Moe Lane writes in an e-mail: “Heh. I figured that document was for real after I got shunted to the fourth office at DHS. If it was fake they would have just said so.”
UPDATE IV: The White House responds:
The White House has distanced itself from the analysis. When asked for comment on its contents, White House spokesman Nick Shapiro said, “The President is focused not on politics but rather taking the steps necessary to protect all Americans from the threat of violence and terrorism regardless of its origins. He also believes those who serve represent the best of this country, and he will continue to ensure that our veterans receive the respect and benefits they have earned.”
UPDATE V: A similar report seems to have been distributed by the Maryland National Guard. This onespecifically mentions Tea Party participants.
UPDATE VI by Brad Warbiany: We were getting quite a bit of hotlinking of the original PDF report (Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, etc), and I have redirected that link to the main post.

Is this who you want deciding on who can have guns and who gets put on a list?

INFLUENCE: THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD IN AMERICA

Meet Laila Alawa, the 25-Year old Syrian Immigrant on DHS Advisory Council Who Wants to Curb Your Speech Rights

"I can’t deal with people saying America is the best nation in the world. Be critical," she tweets.
    BY Br

The freedom of speech includes the right to offend others, or else speech would be contingent upon the views of those in power and with the most influence (*does not mean it’s virtuous to say anything one wants). Unfortunately, there are people who want to outlaw certain speech. Typically, these are individuals on the political left, especially when it comes to saying anything they deem as ‘Islamophobic.’ Laila Alawa is one such individual.

    Alawa is a
25-year-old Syrian immigrant who is not afraid of provocation and expressing her opinions, even if they are blatantly racist and anti-American. Some examples of her radical tweets include:

9/11 changed the world for good, and there’s no other way to say it. I just hope we keep having open conversations about our differences.

#afterseptember11 Being American meant you were white. And my immigrant self suddenly started fighting for the right to be just as American.

I can’t deal with people saying America is the best nation in the world. Be critical. Be conscious. Don’t be idiots.
THE US HAS NEVER BEEN A UTOPIA UNLESS YOU WERE A STRAIGHT WHITE MALE THAT OWNED LAND. straight up period go home shut up

Also I can’t wait until @TheBachelor has a man or woman be the star of the show that isn’t pure white. Or “prettily mixed.”
Because, Ya know, @TheBachelor, white people in America? They’re not gonna be dominant majority for much longer.

Worse yet, this active social media personality is also influencing U.S. national security. In 2015, Alawa received her American citizenship and also became one of fifteen individuals serving on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, Countering Violent Extremism Subcommittee. So, we have an individual who wants to undermine our country and the freedoms it protects, giving advice to our Department of Homeland Security.

The whole Countering Violent Extremism terminology is based upon a false narrative. The intention of it is to divorce terrorism done in the name of Islam from the religion as a whole, thus negating the term “Islamic terrorism.” This appeals to the Left’s description of Islam as a religion of peace; thereby, any violence conducted with Islamic justification is not genuinely Islamic.

The subcommittee Alawa is a part of recently released a report exhorting DHS to “adapt to the changing nature of violent extremism itself” by giving greater consideration to “anarchists, sovereign citizens, white-supremacists, and others.” It’s not surprising that someone who espouses racist sentiment like Alawa would want to divert attention away from herself and go after predominantly white radicals. It also effectively shifts the attention away from radical Islam to other Right-wing fringe groups who pose less of a threat to U.S. security. The New America Foundation’sdrones database compares the total number of “Violent Jihadist Attacks” to “Far Right Wing Attacks” on U.S. soil since 9/11. The number of jihadist attacks almost doubles those of right wing extremists 94 to 48. Even though critics might say the recent Orlando shooting which killed 49 people skews the results; however, if we add in the death count from 9/11 there wouldn’t even be a serious comparison. Furthermore, according to a December 2015 Pew Research article “Muslims make up just less than 1% of the U.S. adult population[,]” revealing how a small segment of the population (roughly a fraction of 1%) causes so much death and destruction to America. It also shows how dedicated and strategic jihadists are with their global network of terror. So much for jihadism being an overblown threat.

    Read NextVIOLENT JIHAD

Former bank robber, now Islamic leader, has an outspoken record against gays.BY COUNTERJIHAD

The report from the subcommittee suggested to DHS tocounter violent extremism: “Focus on gender diversity of youth through careful attention to the range of push and pull factors that attract individuals of differing gender.” This gives liberal educators a prime opportunity to indoctrinate kids with their view of what extremism is and isn’t, and further promote biased cultural sensitivity training. The subcommittee’s report also advised DHS to start “using American English instead of religious, legal and cultural terms like ‘jihad,’ ‘sharia,’ ‘takfir‘ or ‘umma‘” in regards to terrorism in order to not be offensive to Muslims. Such politically correct terminology would handicap DHS from investigating Islamic terrorists since they couldn’t even use the terrorist’s own vocabulary. Individuals such as Alawa are creeping into positions of power within public policy. Their intent includes: restricting criticism of the Muslim community, hindering our government and law enforcement’s ability to go after jihadists, and reiterating false narratives that seek to redirect government resources towards combatting Right-wing extremism instead of the bigger threat in Islamic terrorism. Sounds similar to the ‘civilization jihad’ of the Muslim Brotherhood (“…eliminating and destroying Western civilizationfrom within…”). Still not convinced? Just take a look at some more of Alawa’s tweets:

We are living in a country that deems it ‘freedom of speech’ to spew absolutely hateful ish about Muslims. That’s not freedom of speech.

You can’t say something intolerant and not expect consequences. Not on my watch.
How the h[#]ll is the sh[#]t @PamelaGeller is spewing “free speech”? It’s straight up warmongering hate speech. It’s xenophobia.
hey, um, go f[#]ck yourself. RT @pamelageller: Jihad in Boston: 12 dead, 50 injured …… horrific Boston Marathon bombing

Alawa has Islamist tendencies to say the least. So much for thewoman who has a “mission to elevate the voices of those who are often not heard.” One cannot speak up for the marginalized if there isn’t the freedom to speak one’s mind. Our national security cannot afford taking policy recommendations from radical Muslims such as Laila Alawa. It’s time to expose her agenda before we are silenced.

Confirmed: The Obama DHS hit job on conservatives is real

    By Michelle Malkin • April 14, 2009 12:01 AM

Yesterday, Roger Hedgecock and the Liberty Papers posted an unclassified DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis report titled:
Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.
The “report” (PDF file here) was one of the most embarrassingly shoddy pieces of propaganda I’d ever read out of DHS. I couldn’t believe it was real.
I spent the day chasing down DHS spokespeople, who have been tied up preparing for a very important homeland security event later today: The First Lady is coming to visit their Washington office. Priorities, you know.
Well, the press office got back to me and verified that the document is indeed for real.
They were very defensive — preemptively so — in asserting that it was not a politicized document and that DHS had done reports on “leftwing extremism” in the past. I have covered DHS for many years and am quite familiar with past assessments they and the FBI have done on animal rights terrorists and environmental terrorists. But those past reports have always been veryspecific in identifying the exact groups, causes, and targets of domestic terrorism, i.e., the ALF, ELF, and Stop Huntingdon wackos who have engaged in physical harassment, arson, vandalism, and worse against pharmaceutical companies, farms, labs, and university researchers.
By contrast, the piece of crap report issued on April 7 is a sweeping indictment of conservatives. And the intent is clear. As the two spokespeople I talked with on the phone today made clear: They both pinpointed the recent “economic downturn” and the “general state of the economy” for stoking “rightwing extremism.” One of the spokespeople said he was told that the report has been in the works for a year. My b.s. detector went off the chart, and yours will, too, if you read through the entire report — which asserts with no evidence that an unquantified “resurgence in rightwing extremist recruitment and radicalizations activity” is due to home foreclosures, job losses, and…the historical presidential election.
In Obama land, there are no coincidences. It is no coincidence that this report echoes Tea Party-bashing left-wing blogs (check this one out comparing the Tea Party movement to the Weather Underground!) and demonizes the very Americans who will be protesting in the thousands on Wednesday for the nationwide Tax Day Tea Party.
    From the report, p.2:
Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.
    From the report. p. 3:
(U//LES) Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use. Rightwing extremists are increasingly galvanized by these concerns and leverage them as drivers for recruitment. From the 2008 election timeframe to the present, rightwing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers.
    (U) Exploiting Economic Downturn
(U//FOUO) Rightwing extremist chatter on the Internet continues to focus on the economy, the perceived loss of U.S. jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors, and home foreclosures. Anti-Semitic extremists attribute these losses to a deliberate conspiracy conducted by a cabal of Jewish “financial elites.” These “accusatory” tactics are employed to draw new recruits into rightwing extremist groups and further radicalize those already subscribing to extremist beliefs. DHS/I&A assesses this trend is likely to accelerate if the economy is perceived to worsen.
    From the report, p. 5:
(U//FOUO) Over the past five years, various rightwing extremists, including militias and white supremacists, have adopted the immigration issue as a call to action, rallying point,
and recruiting tool. Debates over appropriate immigration levels and enforcement policy generally fall within the realm of protected political speech under the First Amendment, but in some cases, anti-immigration or strident pro-enforcement fervor has been directed against specific groups and has the potential to turn violent.
And echoing the anti-military bigotry last seen in that disgusting Penn State University training video, there’s this on p. 7:
    (U) Disgruntled Military Veterans
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A assesses that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. These skills and knowledge have the potential to boost the capabilities of extremists—including lone wolves or small terrorist cells—to carry out violence. The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned, or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today.
There’s no hackneyed left-wing stereotype of conservatives left behind in this DHS intelligence and analysis assessment. I asked both DHS spokespeople to tell me who, specifically, the report was accusing of “rightwing extremist chatter” and which “antigovernment” groups are being monitored as “extremists.” They say they’ll get back to me.
In the meantime, be aware of this from the report, p. 8:
(U//FOUO) DHS/I&A will be working with its state and local partners over the next several months to ascertain with greater regional specificity the rise in rightwing extremist activity in the United States, with a particular emphasis on the political, economic, and social factors that drive rightwing extremist radicalization.
Better make a few last-minute signs for the Tea Party. Obama’s DHS is watching:
Honk if you’re a radicalized rightwing extremist!
    Guilty of rightwing extremist chatter
    Anti-government, pro-freedom: Sue me

This thing should have been deported for not assimilating and being a radical - we need real Americans in these positions not this piece of un-intelligent hateful racist garbage. Give the job to a real American!

One can see how grave the situation is with the 2 above posts - they have Americans all fussed up @ the hispanic takeover & the muslim infiltration is progressing from within as is the taking of our guns.

In walking in Olde City amongst the Liberty Bell & Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed, can't help but notice all the young white Americans sitting on the ground begging for change. From not having job opportunities they should have to drug cartels having free rein in America, y
ou see many nodding from opiates or heroin. It is tragic and also planned.

Obama 'not ruling out' executive actions on guns

Trump: 'They'll put political correctness above our safety'

    6/13/16 Leo Hohmann

President Obama is not ruling out issuing more executive actions to curb certain types of gun sales, his top spokesman said Monday, even though he’s not aware of any additional steps the president can take under his current authority.

“The president has taken substantial executive actions using as much executive authority as he can,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said. “I’m not going to rule out additional steps … he’s not going to hesitate to act.”

After the bloody jihadist attack in an Orlando Sunday, Obama’s first comments were not to condemn Islamic terrorism but to put the blame on the availability of guns in America.

The president told the nation Sunday’s attack was a “further reminder of how easy it is for people to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub, and we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be.”

Hillary Clinton, who is Obama’s choice for his successor, hammered the same theme in media interviews.

“We did have an assault-weapons ban for 10 years,” Clinton told CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “I think it should be reinstated.”

“Let’s keep weapons of war off our streets like the one that was used in Orlando,” she added, talking to NBC’s “Today.”

“We know the gunman used a weapon of war to shoot down at least 50 innocent Americans and, you know, we won’t even be able to get the Congress to prevent terrorists or people on the no-fly list from buying guns.”

Omar Seddique Mateen, the 29-year-old jihadist who slaughtered 50 people in Orlando, wasn’t on a no-fly list. To the contrary, he had clearance as a security guard for a company contracted to the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Army and all levels of law enforcement.

    Trump blasts Hillary on guns
Donald Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, hit back hard in his televised response to the Orlando attack Monday when he said of Hillary, “She wants to take away America’s guns, and then let in the people who want to kill us.”

“They’ll put political correctness above our safety, above all of us. I refuse to be politically correct,” Trump said. “The days of deadly ignorancewill end when I become president, and they will end soon.”

He criticized Clinton’s call for a 5,000 percent increase in the number of Syrian refugees coming to the U.S.

Trump cited government figures that the U.S. allows in more than 100,000 immigrants every year from Muslim-dominated countries in the Middle East and many more from Muslim countries outside the Middle East. He said he would release the immigration status of the more than dozens of Islamic terrorist suspects arrested on U.S. soil since September 2001, saying Americans had a right to know this information.

“This could be a bigger, better, more horrible version than the legendary Trojan Horse ever was,” he said.

Rather than focus on restricting gun purchases, Trump said, “America must unite the whole world in the fight against Islamic terrorism.”

    Pope sides with Obama
Pope Francis also jumped on the anti-gun bandwagon and railed against guns in relation to the Orlando attack.

The pontiff on Monday lashed out at the “brazen” freedom with which weapons circulate in the world when compared with numerous obstacles to distributing aid, NBC News reported.

His remarks at a U.N. World Food Program event came one day after the bloodbath in Orlando that many progressives are billing as a “mass shooting” rather than a terrorist attack by an ISIS-inspired Muslim.

That set the tone for a media blitz of similar rhetoric, including an article by the left-leaning Salon magazine titled, “Nobody needs and AR-15: The Orlando massacre teaches us (again) that we must ban semi-automatic human killing machines.”

    ‘Their priorities are upside down’
Alan Gottlieb, executive vice president and founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, said Americans should be appalled that both President Obama and Hillary Clinton chose to attack the Second Amendment rights of legitimate gun owners instead of radical Islamist terrorists.

“Their priorities are upside-down,” he said. “If we lose our Second Amendment rights, the radical Islamist terrorists win.”

Oathkeepers, the pro-U.S. Constitution group of current and retired police and military, issued a statement on its website Monday about the Orlando attack:
The horrific death and injury toll resulting from the Orlando ISIS attack demands that Americans have an adult discussion about gun control. The Government cannot protect us from an individual that is willing to die to kill you and your family. This fact has been proven over and over again; in Chattanooga, at Ft. Hood, in San Bernardino, at the Boston Marathon and even at the Washington Navy Yard. How many more citizens have to die before we turn the conversation away from failed gun control policies, NSA spying and various “watch lists” to making Americans capable of protecting themselves and their loved ones?
Assault-weapon ban didn’t help against French attack

Gottlieb said banning “assault” rifles and handguns didn’t protect France from the bloody jihad attack of November 2015, when 130 innocent civilians were mowed down by jihadists, most of them with AK-47s. Such weapons are strictly illegal in France.

“The European gun control model did not stop the Paris terrorists from getting guns to commit their atrocity,” Gottlieb said. “When you trade the means to protect your personal security for the promise of government protection, you end up with neither.”

Mateen, who called 9-1-1 to pledge allegiance to ISIS during Sunday’s attack, was possibly planning to carry out the massacre at the Orlando gay club for a long time. He attempted to buy military-grade body armor from a local store in recent weeks, according to a U.S. official.

Personnel at the store refused to sell him what is known as Level III body armor, which offers more protection than the body armor police typically issue to officers. Mateen had also legally purchased a Glock pistol and a long gun, Trevor Velino of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, told CNN.

Jerry Henry, executive director of GeorgiaCarry.org, said the gun prohibitionists have shown they will use any political means to push their agenda, even exploiting an Islamic terror attack, something that would have been unheard of just a decade or two ago.

“Once again, the gun prohibitionists want to blame the weapon and all law-abiding citizens for the act of one Islamic terrorist, even to the point of mislabeling the firearm as an ‘assault weapon’ or weapon of war,” Henry said.

Henry said an assault weapon is not defined by the federal ATF and, in reality, it is anything that can be used to assault another person.

“We also know that no country these days would send a soldier off to war with an AR-15 as they would be totally under-armed for their mission.”

Henry said Bill Clinton’s “assault weapons” ban for 10 years “did absolutely nothing during the whole time it was in place. Another such ban would wind up with the same outcome.”

Hillary Clinton stated in 2008, “I disagree with Sen. Obama’s assertion that people in our country cling to guns and (Bibles).” She also stated, “You know, some people now continue to teach their children and their grandchildren. It’s part of culture. It’s part of a way of life. People enjoy hunting and shooting because it’s an important part of who they are. Not because they are bitter.”

It did not take long for her to change her mind.

“Hillary now seems to have great difficulty in determining our ‘rights’ and her elite privileges,” Henry said. “If she thinks I should be disarmed, then she should eschew her armed guards paid for with my tax dollars and fend for herself as she believes I should. If she and all the gun prohibitionists truly believe we should do away with guns, then she should set the example for all to follow.

“As always, the goal of the gun prohibitionists is clearly to disarm the law-abiding citizen. I expect the gun prohibitionists to continue to try to push forward with more unnecessary, unneeded and unworkable laws that will only effect the law-abiding citizen.”
