Maryland needs help!
Hello everyone!
I have been a lurker for some time now and finally decided to join!
I am so saddened by what is happening in my lovely state of Maryland! Our Governor continues to support illegal aliens and even uses our tax dollars to fund pro-illegal alien group CASA of Maryland. This organization aids & abets illegals in our state, provides illegals with bail money when arrested, and even provides money to them when they choose to sue American citizens and companies.
It's all so sad & disappointing to know my taxes are being used to assist illegal aliens.Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"........

It is a sad day in America when our elected politicians ignore the very people that put them in office...........time to rid the country of lifelong politicians.get fresh blood in there and go third party

You are not alone Hippie Chick.
Welcome, Hippie Chick!
Many of us feel the same way that you do HC. Our political leaders consistantly favor illegals over us. However, the movement is growing and most Americans are willing to do what it takes to take our country out of the politicians dirty hands and put it back into the loving hands of the American people.

Thanks for the good words everyone!
I have written to Maryland legislators and higher officials for years. I have handed out flyers in my community. I have emailed delegates. I have made phone calls. I've flooded lawmakers offices with faxes. But it seems Maryland refuses to budge on making any changes!!!
Maryland is the last of FOUR states that still allows illegal aliens to obtain drivers license without proof of citizenship. Our MVA reports over 7,000 applications for drivers licenses from illegal aliens per month! Our public schools are becoming overcrowded with non-English speaking students, and because of that programs such as Art, Music, and Sports are being cut back as to provide more funding for ESOL teachers (English as a Second Language).
In the past 5 months alone, illegal alien crimes have risen dramatically in our state. The MS-13 gang population is rising. In the past 5 month period, a 14-year old boy was stabbed & killed by an MS-13 gang member. A 63-year old woman was beaten to death by illegal aliens who robbed her home. An 83-year old woman was hog tied, killed, then had her home set on fire (with her inside) by illegal aliens who did landscaping in her yard. A 22-year old waiter was stabbed to death by MS-13 gang members.
And we're not talking on some back-alley city street. These crimes were all committed in nice, rural communities outside of Annapolis and D.C.
And to think despite all this, our Governor still chooses to fund CASA of Maryland with our tax dollars, an organization that aids & abets illegals in our state.Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist"........

Alipacers undertand and share in your frustration.
We support you Hippie Chick. And millions of Americans support the cause as well. Our government wants us to think we are alone in expecting our immigration laws to be enforced, but we are the majority.

And now it looks like Thomas Perez, Maryland's Secretary of Labor with a long association with Casa De Maryland, may be Obama's appointment as head of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. See:
