A federal judge temporarily blocked President Trump on Saturday from invoking the 18th century Alien Enemies Act to swiftly deport alleged Venezuelan gang members without a hearing – ordering any flights carrying the supposed criminals to turn around.

Judge Boasberg asserted “A brief delay in their removal does not cause the government any harm,” noting that the detainees will remain in government custody.

Someone ought to put a lien on Judge Boasberg's luxurious home for the taxpayer money that is lost because of his judicial activist ruling.

This is the very kind of judge who needs to be arrested and prosecuted for subjugating Presidental Authority, working to undermine the general welfare of the United States, and malfeasance, misfeasance and non-feasance.

Let a jury decide if he is guilty or not guilty.

No one is above the law!

Keep in mind in USA V. KING COUNTY December 3, 2024, the Ninth Circuit Panel Affirmed that:

". . . the United States had Article III standing to bring the suit. First, the United States had two related concrete and individualized injuries. The United States’ inability to conduct the charter flights—which has increased ICE’s operational costs—constituted a de facto injury that affected the United States in a particularized, individual way."

Under the Act of July 6, 1798, “An Act respecting Alien Enemies”, adopted “In case of war, or actual threatened invasion” [1], the President shall make a public proclamation [2] of the event, all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being males of the age of fourteen years and upwards, who shall be within the United States, and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured and removed, as alien enemies.

President Trump when acting under the Act of July 6, 1798, “An Act respecting Alien Enemies”, gives the president sweeping powers including identifying illegal entrants who have no "due process" rights under the Act.

Once a President issues a “proclamation” under the Act respecting Alien Enemies, it appears, from the legislative intent of the Act (insert 287 in box at top of page), that Congress, and only Congress is authorized to meddle in and/or regulate the President’s actions.

President Trump ought to tell Judge Boasberg, who is demanding answers from Trump SOURCE, to go see Congress for his answers, who has sole jurisdiction and regulatory powers once a President issues a proclamation under the Act respecting Alien Enemies.
