US Senate is now voting on the Graham amendment to military funding bill.
The amendment designates 3 billion USD toward border security-related initiates (additional agents, increased detention space, more equipment, etc).

So far, it appears to be passing easily. - I'll post the final vote tally when available.

Also, I see from the CSpan screen captions that the amendment includes provisions for funding the border fence (well 700 miles) and also for the identification and apprehension of visa overstays/absconders.

I have not heard a single 'Nay' vote during the process thus far. In many of the floor speeches on this amendment this morning, every senator that spoke - including Graham - indicated 'we have heard the American people speak on the border security issue and will support this as a result' (well, paraphrased...).
