Does anyone agree?
Does anyone have the strange feeling that Hillary and Obama are going to team up if either candidate gets the Democratic nomination?

After Obama's opening debate statement, it sounds as if an Obama/Edwards ticket.

To me this isn't a debate...it's a series of speeches.
Seem like that to anyone else?"Distrust and caution are the parents of security."

Stranger things have happened, I suppose, but I think the Clintons absolutely hate Obama.
All things considered, I don't imagine that Obama cares for them much at this point.
I just couldn't picture them as running mates.

01-31-2008, 10:36 PM #7I agree. I think it might be Edwards. That would seal the deal for a Hillary win. Maybe Richardson to get more hispanic votes. But, and not to be offensive in any way, I really think Hillary needs a white male on the ticket to get the presidency. Just stating a fact.

If Hillary was a true liberal, she would be so overjoyed that a black man was running for President that she would stand aside and withdraw from the race in order to assist his victory.

Hillary and Obama sounds like a winning ticket to me. Neither can win on their own and Edwards brings too little to the table, more of a liability than a solid asset.
Kennedy knows what he is doing. Rally the young and inexperienced Senator's base then form an alliance after the super delegates nod in Billary's direction. Dems win.
Well, could make for a good Hollywood movie.

Think it might be the plan all along. Bought Edwards off. Make you think you had a vote, when you don't.
