Barely five months into his first term in office, Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, a conservative Republican from Twin Peaks (San Bernardino County,) has started to make good on his campaign promises.

The month of April was an eye-opener for conservatives and liberals across the state, that this new Representative was not going to use his term in office to rub elbows with the establishment and play nice, he was going to get the job done!

A major bill that the Freshman Assemblyman proposed at committee was his Illegal Immigration Bill, AB26. Donnelly wisely wrote this bill in a way that protected the safety of both citizens and the illegal immigrant. By providing harsh penalties to those who would rape or murder illegal immigrants and targeted employers that took advantage of cheap labor illegal immigrants, by forcing them to use the E-verify service before hiring employees. This immigration bill resonated with all races. Supporters such as Dr. Florin Ciuriuc, Executive Director of the "Slavic Community in Sacramento," Jamel Shaw Sr. who’s son was brutally killed a block from his home by an illegal immigrant gang member resulting in an effort to pass “Jamel’s Lawâ€

Lest we forget,Tim organized and led the California Chapter of the
Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC) back in the summer of 2005.And in the fall of 2005 was at the helm for the first border operation in Jacumba,which was no small feat considering the political climate at that time.Imagine,armed citizens on the border doing the job the Government refused to do!
