That's a good point Paige. I'm not totally sure, but I believe that the funding for the fence would be part of Defense/Homeland Security bill. I don't know if that has already been brought up or not. Probably would be a great time to remind our elected persons to fund it already!

I don't want to seem ignorant, but what exactly just happened with this bill. Will some one expliain to me what this means.

agrneydgrl the amendment would stop all funds for the pilot program allowing Mexican trucks to travel through the US. Right now they can only drive 25 miles into the US and then American truck drivers take the load wherever it needs to go.
