Dow Jones Plummets on News Senate Health Care Bill May Not Pass

Dow Jones Just Plummeted 95 points on news Senate Republicans may not approve the health care bill. Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. The 6 Republicans standing in the way of this progress to repeal and replace Obamacare are letting down Republicans, letting down Trump Supporters, letting down working citizens, taxpayers and our nation. There is no upside to what Collins, Murkowski, Paul, Cruz, Heller and Johnson are doing. Only downside. You disappoint every American who needs and wants a better job with more hours, higher wages and benefits. You disappoint every American stuck with these awful penalties for not having insurance. You disappoint every small business that would like to expand and hire more Americans because they can't afford to offer company health insurance or the penalties for not doing so. You disappoint every person on retirement who wants to see their investments grow with a rejuvenated economy, every town and state that needs new industry and all the jobs and benefits these manufacturers provide when growing and expanding in the United States. You disappoint every insured person who wants to see their premiums go down and their options and choices go up.

Whining about Medicaid Expansion ad nauseum as if Medicaid Expansion is some type of solution to something is so ignorant. Medicaid is a symptom of the problem, not a solution to the problem.

Socialism is a disease, not a safety net. When Republicans get hooked like some of these Republicans are exposing themselves to be, then our free nation has ended. When Republicans get hooked on "conservative ideology" without reasonable safety nets, then they become the road to Socialism, the beast that feeds itself on the stupidity of incompetent elected officials.

YOU PASS THAT DAMN BILL ON THURSDAY or you'll regret it for years to come. Those of you who think you're "looking ahead to a re-election", you're stupidity on health insurance, jobs, economy and taxes is only surpassed by your stupidity on elections.

From what I have read and heard this is not a heath insurance plan it is a healthcare plan (bigger co-pays, things that are not going to be covered, punishment for aging and pre-existing (higher preimiums). Then there is a lot of Dr.s refusing to accept any healthcare plan and more will be refusing to accept it. It will become not affordable to most people from late 40 up to 65. The same ones that are being forced out of the workplace already. This may not include you now but at some point it will. The days of health insurance have disappeared since the government got involved. The government should not be involved in healthcare they screw up everything they touch. I want my health Insurance back before Obamacare and the government decided to get their mits in it. The insurance companies are going to make Billions off this plan and you can see their influence all through the bill.

This gets the government out of health insurance. The exchanges disappear in a few years, no subsidies, no contribution at all to insurance companies. When they repeal McCarran, there will be multi-state and national competition for insurance dollars. Premiums will drop like rocks and options, choices and services will skyrocket. The government won't have anything to do with it if this bill passes. There will be 3 rules, kids can stay on parents policies until they're 26, everyone with a pre-existing condition is protected for coverage if it's continuous with a cap on any penalty of 30% for no more than 6 months if it lapses and a lock-out of some type which will get removed in conference, you can't charge an older person more than 5 times the comparable policy of the youngest insured.

I personally don't give a hoot about "health insurance", or "health care", my objective is to get this bill passed so we can move forward with tax cuts and start creating jobs in this country so people can get back to work at good jobs with good benefits including health insurance benefits to cover their medical care. I want the mandates removed and McCarran repealed. Do those two things and the market will fix the rest.

    I don't have health insurance, haven't for years, can't afford it and don't want a hand-out.

So everyone needs to quit whining about "health care", and pass the damn bill so we can fix our screwed up country.
