Wednesday, September 19, 2007
Tonight, outraged members of Congress blasted the toy industry
and importers for putting dangerous toys in the hands of
children.
At the opening of two days of landmark House hearings on the
lead-tainted toys, Congressmen blasted big corporations by name
for quietly pulling more lead toys off their shelves without
issuing recalls and for not fully cooperating, in some cases,
with House investigators probing how many more dangerous toys
have made it to store shelves that we don’t even know about.
We’ll have that report tonight.

to combat illegal immigration. The County currently checks the
immigration status of perpetrators of violent and serious
crimes. But the new plan would extend that policy to lesser
violations such as traffic stops and misdemeanors. Some
residents fear this new policy would encourage racial
profiling. We’ll report on the new efforts in Prince William
County to crackdown on illegal aliens.
The Cook County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday on a
resolution to support U.S. Senate bill 1035 [“H-1B and L-1 Visa

Was there any mention of the Senate battle on Dobbs last tonight?
Last night, they buried the story 40 minutes into the broadcast and nobody mentioned they could be voting TODAY on this.
Lou where are you? We need you back ASAP Lou!!!
