    A Florida Gulf Coast University class is organizing an education fair for undocumented workers in the East Fort Myers area this Sunday.

    The fair will include food, guest speakers, and booths from various public service centers, said Honey Archey, a student of the Foundations of Civic Engagement class.

    Participants in the fair will be representatives from Lee County Sheriff, Lee County School Board, Lee Memorial Health Systems and a speaker from one of the social service centers.

    The goal of the fair is to educate undocumented workers on what their rights are in issues such as health care, law enforcement, and education. We will provide direction to where they can go for help and information.

    The fair is Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Jesus the Worker Catholic Church, 881 Nuna Ave., Fort Myers.

    I called the school, the lady that answered did not know about this. If they are holding it off of school grounds they may not have to get the schools permisson. This is being sponsered by the students.

    I think ALIPAC needs to get a booth. We could sponsor a FREE/GRATIS bus to the local ICE office for illegals who want to access "government services". Gratis Bus to free stuff from the government, feel free to get on Jose

    If this held on the school campus, we ARE paying for it. The school staff that has to work the sham...eerrrr, fair, the clean-up afterwards, security to keep the illegals in check, so by no means is this a free ride.
