In the grand scheme of things I guess I'll reflect on it a bit
We won on Dream
The tax compromise just means I won't be paying a ton more in January , even though we gave up more unemployment dollars (which could easily be cured by kicking out the illegals and giving those jobs to Americans)
The Start treaty is no big deal , both sides still have enough nukes to blow us back into the stone age
I don't really care about dadt , The military is voluntary these days , if you don't want to serve with gays , quit , or don't join , if staffing levels start to fall off over this , you can be they will revise it.
9/11 funding just seems kind of wasteful and more spending , I thought this was already funded? Also do not those responders have strong unions with strong health care?
The food safety bill is a stickler , I work in the retail level of the food industry and I can tell you , the rules right now border on the absurd the way it is now. The only thing that they did do in the past few years is COOL labeling , On some items in Meat and Produce YOU HAVE TO print the country of origin on the label so you know if your tomatoes or steak was grown in Mexico, or where ever.
Be thankful , They could have done far more damage

In addition, I suppose the START Treaty could be somewhat beneficial as the military has enough nuclear weapons and I don't think they'll need anymore as the government is bankrupt as it is.
Let's also not forget that the forced public unionization bill & the communist paycheck "fairness" bill were both defeated in this session.

It doesn't take many nukes to wipe out a country
Certainly 1550 the number allowed by the treaty is more then overkill
When you get right down to this lame duck session , we won on the tax break and the big one Dream , I guess we didn't do to bad
I wish they would have addressed the IRS reporting rules with the new health care bill but hopefully the new congress will get that taken care of
