It would not be difficult. Pass E-Verify legislation. Audit every employer at least once every three years. A single auditor could do any size company.
The employer would pay for the cost of the audit.

Thanks for that info! It clarified for me some facts that I had no knowledge of. It sounds so logical and simple to put E-verify as a mandantory law in every State. It's so frustrating that so many businesses want to betray their own Country for their own greed. It's beyond sickening! Let's hold out on hope that an E-verify law with play out with the next term (or sooner)!

Hacimo welcome glad to have you here supporting with us I have been saying for years we need to go after employers.Audit them check the status of ss# that these employees us names addresses and all info they provide to get jobs. The I.R.S. also needs to follow up to see what the employer files taxes on to see how much cash he pays out to illegals most illegals only work for cash.We as people can help out by not hiring employers that work what we think are illegals most of the time if you think they are illegal your right, dont shop or eat at their establishments once employers see they cant get work or their profits fall from buisneses they will get the message and quit working them.My favorite saying has always been no work no jobs no homes cant eat cant pay bills they have to go back home. But you also have to cut off the free stuff too.

Isn't it funny how the pro-illegals try to claim that we never say anything about the employers and that we don't make as much effort to make them accountable for their part in all of this? I guess they choose selective reading because it doesn't fit their agenda. We want both the employers and illegal employees to be caught but the pro-illegals only want the former to be caught and punished. They are the hypocrites, not us.

But what they really want is cheap labor and they easily get "fooled" (poor dumb bunnies wink wink nudge nudge).
That is so true, I don't believe for a minute that they don't know what's going on when Jose can barely speak any English.

Not with Obama as president! Hopefully the next president and congress will be on OUR side!
It would not be difficult. Pass E-Verify legislation. Audit every employer at least once every three years. A single auditor could do any size company.
The employer would pay for the cost of the audit.

Quality audits are very intrusive and hundreds of thousands are performed annually. A single auditor can turn a company inside out, in three days. The company pays for this. I've audited companies and my company has also been audited.

For E-verify the auditor merely needs to check the number of employees and run their socials thru the E-Verify data base. AZ is already doing this.

IMO, the employer pay for the audit. The govt should invoice the employer.

The Obama admin. has significantly increased the number of workplace audits. Deportations for the last two years exceed 800,000. This is more than Bush or Clinton ever dreamed about deporting.
The only problem with E-verify is the illegals have a bad habit of stealing legitimate socials. My sister in law has a friend who is the manager at a Wendy's here in AZ and when they were doing the W-2s this year they noticed that 3 of the Mexican workers had the same social.

There is nothing wrong with this sort of approach except that it is really not going to solve the problem all by by itself. It is sort of like wacking ants that are invading your kitchen but meanwhile leaving the place filthy with crumbs and the sugar bowl open in plain sight. The simple fact is that Illegals come here to make money and if they can't get jobs and they are loosing money then they will leave the same way they arrived. Hence a key approach for effective results has got to be to prevent businesses from hiring Illegals. There has got to be a very harsh penalty that makes the risk of hiring somebody who will work cheap greater then the reward. So my question is: "why is there no legislation and no activism aimed at employers?" Is the farm lobby really that strong? Are the hotel service and construction lobbies really that strong? Have they taken over the republican party? Republicans and conservatives like and admire a profitable business and they are usually good for everyone. However hiring Illegals to boost profits is beyond the pail. It is almost like using slave labor. People who do this have got to be punished! Does this organization work to promote employer sanctions of this sort?

Welcome Hacimo to Alipac. As a matter of fact employer sanctions are part of Alipac's 4 point platform.

FOUR POINT PLATFORM: "Simply enforce our existing immigration laws!"

    1. Secure Our Borders

    2. Crack down on employers that intentionally hire illegal aliens

    3. Remove incentives and rewards to illegals such as licenses, welfare, and other taxpayer benefits
    4. Enforce our existing laws and deport illegal aliens when convicted of crimes or detected during routine law enforcement activities

    Excellant, I totally agree !

Another reason that employer sanctions are so important is because they are cheap an easy to enforce (there are a lot fewer employers than there are employees). Enforcement on employers also requires fewer jail cells, fewer lawyers, fewer cops. It requires no fences and no patrols on the border. Finally employers have more to loose if they get caught. They loose their businesses, their status and their reputations. Illegals have little to loose and they can always keep trying. Employers can thus be more easily induced to behave themselves.

Welcome, hacimo! Glad to have you here. You are indeed correct about employment being a main reason illegals invade, however, they bring their illegal alien dependents with them because they know taxpayers will provide for them and any anchor kids born here after they arrive.
