Observe from Revelation that at least seven years of tribulation and a thousand years of the reign of Jesus as Messiah precede TEOTWAWKI.

Rev 1, 2, and 3 - the Church age, the present day of grace

Rev 4:1 - "Come up hither!" - the rapture of Christians to be with the Lord in the air. No one knows the day or the hour, but it is imminent - it can happen at any time. (See 1 Thess. 4:13-17)

Rev 4:2 through 11 - the first half of the seven year tribulation (42 months of 30 days) - "the beginning of sorrows."

Rev 12 - the midpoint of the tribulation - God hides Israel "in the wilderness" from the days of His wrath.

Rev 13:1-10 - the fourth beast (from the [Mediterranean] sea) of Daniel 7 is revealed - the revived Roman Empire, headed by the antichrist.

Rev 13:11-18 - the false prophet, the beast from the land [of Abraham] - Islam - drives the nations into the embrace of the antichrist.

Rev 14 through 18 - the second half of the seven year tribulation - "the time of Jacob's trouble" - the day of God's wrath.

Rev 19 - the second coming: the Lord Jesus Christ comes on a white horse, with all the saints. He eradicates the antichrist empire and the false prophet empire "with the word of His mouth." There is no battle, the saints are unarmed, and there is no bloodshed. Just, "begone!" and the two beasts take up permanent residence in the lake of fire.

Rev 20:1-6 - the devil, Satan, is cast into the abyss, the bottomless pit, for a thousand years. With His resurrected saints, Jesus reigns as Messiah from Jerusalem for the millenium.

Rev 20:7-15 - Satan must be released for a little while to deceive the nations and bring hundreds of millions of them from Gog and Magog etc. against the Messiah in Jerusalem for the battle of Armageddon. Fire comes down from God out of heaven and devours the enemies of Messiah Yeshua, the Lord Jesus Christ. The unredeemed dead are resurrected, judged, and cast with the devil into the lake of fire.

Rev 21 and 22 - the old heavens and the old earth pass away (possibly after an indeterminate period of time), and God creates a new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells.

Can't buy the rapture, it would require a THIRD coming of Christ which isn't mentioned anywhere in the Bible.

Rev 13:16
16He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

This is happening NOW with RFID and the Real ID legislation.
