What is the enforcement status of our current immigration laws? While the debate goes on regarding the senate comphrehensive immigration bill, mexicans are likely pouring across our borders by the thousands, all hoping to be part of the great amnesty. If the comphrehensive immigration bill dies or stalls until after the November elections, are we to accept the status quo, the do nothing, or as little as possible, situation we have today? I think we need to be pounding our elected officals at all levels of government to strictly enforce the laws we currently have until something has been decided for change at the congressional level. We need to keep up the phone calls, faxes, and e-mails to those responsible for immigration enforcement. No downtime, no slack, keep the pressure on, we cannot go dormant on this issue!!!
