Yes. It was nixed in late April or early May 2007.

Several talk show hosts covered this story for many weeks earlier this year.

Rest assured, further attempts to start the "pilot program" (as it was called, to make it sound harmless and short-lived) will be made again soon.

The good news is, if they (the idiots in washington) try to 'sneak' anything by the American public ever again, it probably can't happen because people are becoming so aware of what they are trying to do PLUS noone trust anything they say or do. I think as time goes, they will not be able to sneak anything through the American public after this shamnesty!!

I am pretty sure Congress put a hold on this until they can investigate it further. It was in The Iraq War Spending Bill. But we will sure keep an eye on it.

Very true, it is a VERY good thing that the American people have been awaken and are ready to save this country for our children. An important thing to remember even after we win this, we can never go to sleep again. We must never make that mistake again!
