E-Verify on House Floor - Call Your Reps!
    Updated: Wednesday, January 28, 2009, 10:23 AM

The House resumed debate on its version of the stimulus package at 10 a.m. this morning. Call your Representative and let them know that his/her constituents expect this bill to explicitly require E-Verify to make sure all new jobs go to Americans and legal immigrants already here. Please go to your Action Buffet corkboard and click on the phone note. It will provide talking points to make it easier to make the phone call, and it names your Representative and provides alternative phone numbers to call.

    Call Now! Update from Numbers

    Updated: Wednesday, January 28, 2009, 12:50 PM

The House resumed debate on its version of the stimulus package at 10 a.m., and as of now, there have been no calls to strip the E-Verify amendments from the bill. But things can change quickly on the Hill, so we still urge you to call your Representative and let them know that his/her constituents expect this bill to explicitly require E-Verify to make sure all new jobs go to Americans and legal immigrants already here. Please go to your Action Buffet corkboard and click on the phone note. It will provide talking points to make it easier to make the phone call, and it names your Representative and provides alternative phone numbers to call.
