lol, i had that in my original post. I grew up listening to the Boom Town Rats and have always been a Bob Geldof fan. Or perhaps I should call him 'Sir Bob'?

His role as Pink in Pink Floyd's the wall was great. I can't tell you how many times I have watched that movie.

I also was completely engrossed in Live Aid and Band Aid.

A lot of people do not know this, but Sir Bob had an album called Deep In The Heart of Nowhere which I can't find a copy of anywhere. I used to listen to that album religiously my first year in college in 88. It had a semi hit track called The World Is Calling.

I was not a fan of Live 8 and was sorry to hear that Bob had to cancel a recent European tour due to low ticket sales.
