Everyone Ready for the Next Round?

So the illegals messed up by showing their cards in the streets. ALIPAC and our allied organizations are flush with new activists and support. Our oppositions leaderships is trying to diffuse May Day.

Are our old school and new blood activists ready for the next offensive moves for our team?

Ya ready for the next round folks? Who's on the ready line with us?

While I'm quite excited bout next week, I'm also fearful we'll see compromises made that will result in a very ineffective immigration reform bill.

I think there is too much big business involved on this and too many politicians fearful they will lose votes if they try to get tough on illegals.

Don't fret. If they pass the bill it could be the best thing for us. Just imagine the backlash. There's no way for the politicians to save themselves from this backlash as it is. It will just be bigger and more politically destructive if they pass it.

I think we're going to do well, I really do. I'm a little nervous, but too much is now out and the open.

The senators will destroy their own political futures if they act like Reid or Specter. I think those two are going to be sitting by themselves at lunch next week !!

I hope there is a backlash if it does pass b/c I think there will be a lot more Americans out of work or have their wages degraded by the new influx of workers.

One thing that has been bothering me is that the day before I went to the protest to meet up with Dragon5 in Dallas, a good friend of mine called me up and asked me what I was doing in Dallas. When I told her, she proceeded to call me a bigot and racist for what I was doing. I was very sick and really didnt want to argue, i was throwing up all night when she had called. We've not spoken since and feel like my participation in this fight against illegals has caused me to lose a good friend. So I'm hoping that my loss, and the losses (or hardships) of anyone else related to illegal immigration, is not in vain come time for the bill to pass.

It's not a pretty world out there, many people are on our side, but many others are not. It's frustrating that we know we're in the right but the perception of our actions sometimes comes across as racist not rightegous in the face of some. And in many cases, our accusers use the racist accusations only as a insincere defensive tactic to our sincere rightful and just cause for opposing illegal immigration.
