Far Left now demanding that all migrant detention facilities in U.S. be CLOSED and that illegal aliens be released into the country

Wednesday, July 03, 2019 by: JD Heyes

(Natural News) Frustrated with their inability to stop POTUS Donald Trump and his administration from enforcing all immigration laws, even to the point of signing a Joint Declaration with Mexico, American Leftists on Tuesday demanded that all detention facilities be closed in the U.S. where migrants are being held.

By default, that means the Left also demanded that illegals being held in those facilities also be released into the interior of the United States, effectively rendering our country’s borders moot.
As reported by Common Dreams, a Leftist news site:
Amid reports of severe abuse and neglect in the immigrant detention centers the Trump administration is running, human rights campaigners are planning hundreds of demonstrations on Tuesday to demand the closing of the prisons and the reunification of all families who have been separated by the government.
Groups that staged protests included, the ACLU, the Center for Popular Democracy, and other Leftist organizations. The protests were reportedly scheduled in around 180 or so cities and towns across the U.S.
“Beginning at 12:00 pm local time and throughout the afternoon, critics of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies will assemble outside of their representatives’ offices and at other public venues for the #CloseTheCamps protests,” Common Dreams reported.

MoveOn noted: “It’s going to take all of us to close the camps.”
The protests were scheduled after Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.), Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) traveled to El Paso, Texas to visit a detention center on Monday.
As she is prone to do, Ocasio-Cortez made sure that the event was all about her getting more attention than it was about truthfully presenting factual data about the facilities to her constituents (and the American people at large). And of course, the disgustingly dishonest Washington media played its role by not calling her out or reporting correct information.
“We’re talking systemic cruelty [with] a dehumanizing culture that treats them like animals,” Ocasio-Cortez said after she and her delegation claimed that migrant detainees were being denied medications, bathing facilities, and other amenities.
    ‘Clearly, intentionally misinforming people’

She even claimed that detainees were being forced to drink out of toilets.
DHS and border officials, past and present, pushed back hard on Ocasio-Cortez for blatantly lying about how migrant detainees — who, by the way, broke our laws in the first place — are being treated, Fox News reported. (Related: Obama’s DHS secretary: Cages, or whatever you call them, weren’t put in place by POTUS Trump.)
“They are not drinking out of the toilet—no Border Patrol agent is going to make anyone drink out of the toilet,” former U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director Tom Homan said on Fox News‘ “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday. “It’s just ridiculous on its face.”
He noted that she was “clearly, intentionally misinforming the American public,” adding: “She’s lost all credibility.”
In particular, Homan said Ocasio-Cortez and her gaggle of Leftist ICE haters were referring to an “apparatus” that serves as a sink and toilet (separate, of course).
“You’re drinking out of the same apparatus, the same piece of equipment, but there are two separate water lines—one going to the commode, one going to the sink,” Homan said. “… [T]hey are designed that way to try to save space and make it more comfortable for the people who are in those facilities.”

    Clint, Texas

“NO ONE is drinking TOILET WATER,” said a @customsborder official in response to @repocasiocortez’ claim that asylum-seekers are being forced to drink from a toilet
They’re drinking POTABLE WATER from a sink ATTACHED to a toilet
It’s what you would find in ANY MUNICIPAL JAIL across the United States” 🙄

The fact that the American Left wants detention facilities closed or that AOC and other Democrats are providing intentionally false information about them is nothing new. The Left simply wants open borders, period. They want to flood our country, overwhelm and then collapse our systems as part of their quest to ‘transform’ America into a giant Marxist failure.
It’s not a position that nearly 80 percent of Americans believe in, however.

CLOSE THE CAMPS protests went NO WHERE!!!!! They basically didn't exist. I don't think anybody showed for the 2 in Chicago because there wasn't 1 single word about them in the MSM. This other Soros group, LIGHTS for LIBERTY will have a little more support depending if TRAITOR TRUMP goes ahead with some of these SACRED FAMILY DEPORTATIONS next week.

On Friday July 12th, 2019, Lights for Liberty: A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps, will bring thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.

El Paso, Texas, where migrants are being housed in outdoor conditions under a bridge with no running water for months at a time, is the anticipated site of the main Lights for Liberty vigil. Legislators, activists, organizers, and members of impacted communities are expected to speak.

Other key events are planned in Homestead, FL, at a migrant child detention facility that has caused mass abuse and neglect; in San Diego, near the point of entry site from Tijuana; in New York City, at Foley Square, where hundreds of migrants are processed through detention a day; and in Washington, DC, in front of the Capitol building, to demand action from Congress to end human detention and impeach the President.

Across this country, we have witnessed acts against people fleeing persecution many of us thought we would never see in modern times.

At Trump’s human detention camps, teen mothers and babies are held outdoors in “dog pounds.” We have witnessed the sick and elderly confined to “icebox” rooms for weeks at a time. Unbelievably, children as young as 4 months are taken from their parents, medicine is confiscated, and medical care withheld, and LGBTQ and disabled individuals are held in solitary confinement.

“The Trump administration’s immigration policies and detention camps meet the United Nations’ definition of genocide and crimes against humanity,” said Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin, lawyer, activist and organizer. “Congress is refusing to stop the president and his policies. We cannot allow these atrocities to be perpetrated in our name.”

Perhaps most terrifying, refugees are beginning to be moved onto military grounds, where there will be a lack of oversight from the media, lawyers, and human rights monitors. Many of us thought we would never see anything like this in modern times.

“Now is the time for every person to stand up and say, ‘We will not accept this!’ No more hesitating. No more denial. No more fear. We need to be bold, and loud, and unrelenting. That’s the only way we can stop this,” said Kristin Mink, activist and organizer.

Still small. Can't get the video but I assume only a handful of Communist SCUM showed up at CHUY's office in Chicago. He's Communist SCUM. They'll start going CRAZY when the video's of the illegal invader children screaming and crying as they are carried out of apartments go up on the MSM. I've got my spot ready to protest in favor of Trump and deportations but he has to come through 1st. before I paint up the signs. I don't trust the guy.
