I did a search of The LA Times, NY Times, Washington Post, AZ Republic and The Houston Chronicle.
It seems they like Elizabeth Dunbar of the AP. She wrote the story they ALL carried. LA Times & AZ Republic stated "several vehicles crashed"...BUT no mention of the woman.
NY Times & Houston Chronicle said ICE was looking into the womans real name and where she comes from.

Yeah, but we heard about the woman on the plane who didn't get her oxygen -- like one million times a day over the MSM.

Of the two, AP is a little more likely to run the story while censoring out the immigration components while Reuters is more likely just not to run them at all.

Fox News
"The woman charged with causing the fatal school bus crash in southwestern Minnesota was pulled over by police a month before the accident on the same highway, and in what appears to have been the same minivan.
Her boyfriend, who was driving the van at the time, was ticketed for driving without a license.
5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has learned that in 2006, Olga Marina Franco was stopped by police in Montevideo for driving without a license. She was able to lie to an officer and used a false identity and ID card.
Days before the fatal Cottonwood crash, Franco was given a ride home in a squad car, again using her alias of Alianiss N. Morales, to prevent a deputy from knowing she was in the country illegally, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has confirmed.
According to a sheriff's department report, on Jan. 16, Franco was riding in the minivan on a stretch of Highway 23, about 40 miles from the spot of last week's fatal crash that killed four students from Lakeview Public School. It is the same van that Franco was driving at the time of the crash.
A Kandiyohi County deputy pulled over the Plymouth Voyager after noting the license plate wasn't easily visible.
The driver, Samuel Rivera Melendez, had a learner's permit but not a license. His girlfriend, Franco, told the officer she had no state ID card or driver's license and claimed to be Aliannis Morales.
Melendez was ordered to pay $187 in fines.
The couple told the deputy there were returning home to Willmar from Cottonwood, where they worked. It was about 2:30 a.m.
The woman has since been identified as a 24-year-old from Guatemala who was living in the town of Minneota. She has been charged with four counts of criminal vehicular homicide, as well as running a stop sign and driving without a license."

Mystery resolved.
It appears that the AP only put out the info she was an illegal alien yesterday.
Look how short they made the article. They removed most of the information about the crash and the impact on the victims and their families.
http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&tab=w ... N&start=10
by putting this info out later and in a shorter version, this news is less likely to get coverage around the country.
And, even though the AP put this out, they may not have circulated it fully on the news wires, sometimes they quarantine the story by only running it a state or small region instead of across America.

Yeah, I did searches on CNN and MSNBC and there is nothing there except for the initial article. They never bothered to update with the identity of the driver and the fact that she is here illegally. This should be a major news story.
Our local paper (News and Observer) did have a few articles, including one with her identity.

If I was the parents of some of those children killed it would be front page news and I would make sure it stayed that way. They would never be able to shut me up. I would be in their faces everyday. loneprotester needs to team up with some of the parents and start a very noisey group...
