Thread: February 7th Lars Larson Show

Mr. Gheen did a splendid job on today's Lars Larson radio talk-show, syndicated nationally by Westwood One stations. Lars himself supports ALIPAC but took exception to the shooting incident discussed. Frankly, I thought Mr. Gheen's view was the proper one ... and suspect that most everyday Americans listening to the show felt the same way.

Note, if you missed it, you can still catch a re-broadcast of the show. The segment with Mr. Gheen starts at 11:00 PM tonight, Pacific Time. And, the URL for the stream is:

Note that you must have the Abacast plugin installed to hear the 32k Windows Media stream.

Without any knowledge of your local radio stations/schedules I'd almost certainly be wrong if I took a guess. But, here's a bit more info:

Lars does 2 radio programs every [week]day - one is national which goes out over Westwood One, and the other is a local/regional program which airs on a variety of stations here in my area. I am not entirely certain, but as AnswerMan mentioned in his post, the national program will air [again] here locally @ 11:00pm - since the show has already occurred, then my guess is you'll be catching the taped version of the national program.

the previous hour had a talk with a lady about DNA of illegals.
the start of this hour seems to be about housing association and the

I'm fortunate that Lars Larson's HQ is right here in my hometown. His base of operations here is KXL radio. Westwood One's "streaming" site had Mr. Gheen's segment at 5:00 PM Pacific. However, Westwood One affiliate stations could broadcast the 3 hour show with each hour in a different order.

If you were on KXL's streaming site and, based on the time of your post, I suspect you were listening to his "local Portland" show. His national show is also broadcast on KXL - with Mr. Gheen's segment at 11:00 PM Pacific.

In any case, I captured the national show again via KXL and the stream was better quality than Westwood One's stream. So, I've updated the existing RealAudio file on my site (16k modem-friendly) and added a 64k broadband MP3 file - both streaming at the links below:
