    Travel within California

    Hi new to forum.

I am from El Salvador living in L.A. area (without proper visa), I want to travel to San Jose/ San Fran area this weekend. Is is safe to do so? This is my first planned trip up to Northern California and I have been warned by others not to travel outside of L.A. (mostly by those who have never left the area for fear of deportation).

Any help and info will be greatly appreciated.

    Here's an idea

Why don't you travel back to El Salvador and stay there and make it a place worth living in!

I came to the U.S. for the opportunity to make myself a better person and hopefully go back to El Salvador with the necessary tools to make it a better country. I love all the opportunities available to me in the U.S. that would not be available in El Salvador. I wish my home country was as flexible and free as the U.S., but it is not (as like most Central America), so I traveled to the U.S. to give myself a better life.

If that is so evil than everyone in the U.S. should just leave the country and give it back to the Indians.

Its called "LAWS..We dont run aorund and club our women and pull them into caves these days either. We also dont burn people at the stake for being a witch.

LAWS are something you broke and are now a "criminal". Leave this country and try to return the correct way. You know follow procedure.

I thank you for any info regarding my trip to Northern California. I will not get into a debate about my living here. That is for another post.

    Thanks again.

The minute you stepped into the United States illegally you ruined your chances of becoming a "better person" because now you are a criminal.

The opportunities available to you in the U.S. are this: you will be exploited for your lack of education and skills, and you will do back breaking work for slave wages.

If the Indians were meant to have this country, then they would have won the battle for it. Survival of the fittest, my friend.

Okay, here are directions to Northern California.

Starting from Los Angeles, get on the 5 freeway headed toward San Diego. Keep going until you get to the San Ysidro/Mexican border and then cross over into Tijuana. Once there, open your road map and find Northern California. Once you have done that, close your eyes and dream that you are there. Because that is the only way in hell you deserve to be there!
