Are less immigrants really coming now?
According to the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News, now controlled by leftists, less immigrants are coming to the U.S. Do you believe it? I am not sure?
I know there are more border patrol agents but Spanish television reported that less money is being sent to families in El Salvador and this hurts El Salvador's economy which would make more of them to try and come here illegally?
I don't trust the liberal press.....

Less illegals may be coming because of the economy. Some are going back home, but in the meantime there are passels of anchor babies as I see every time I go to a store. And amazing how many of the women that no speakedy Ingles are pregnant while they have four or more little ones hanging on to mom at the cash register.

Not here in my part of the country.
But if employers are worried about having enough employees...........my suggestion would be to get some of these legal citizens who have become accustomed to welfare and food stamps back out into to the work force. After all...these types contributed greatly to what we are seeing now

The communications between the receiving areas and sending areas is very good. If people are not hiring here they know it and most come here with passage paid by friends and family here. If the people here do not have the surplus to send pasage money they do not come.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

As long as people continue to lump both legal immigrants and illegal aliens into the same group (immigrants), it's really hard to tell what they are even talking about. Unless they give references to the studies made, they can pretty much bend it any way by combining stats and so on.

That's true. When we see statistics, we need to dig them apart.

These stories may be plants. I'm thinking they are coming in droves to be here for the amnesty -Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I think the population is shifting some. Someone in OK told me the illegals are heavy in places like Oklahoma City, where they can still get day labor type jobs. Big cities are still magnets because of public transportation, day labor, other family members live there...

Since Oklahoma's new anti-illegal immigration law took effect last November, HOARDES of illegals have SHOWN UP in Dallas, TX, one of our nation's BEST illegal alien hideouts!
