FOx news covered Dream Act.

They showed Harry Reid and Dick Durbin for it.


They showed Sharon Angle coming out solid against it.

They showed John McCain pretending to be against the Dream Act or at least being part of the defense bill.

They pointed out the main reasons many Americans oppose Dream Act is because it will encourage more illegal immigration and replace American students in college.

Fox news DID NOT HAVE ANYONE REPRESENTING THAT VIEW FOR CITIZENS ON THEIR COVERAGE. THey just had lawmakers and candidates.

Public was not represented.

They probably couldn't air what the public really has to say about the Dream Act Amnesty on daytime TV. Well, at least not without a lot of editing.

On now, Luis Gutierrez speaking with Megyn Kelly. She opened with the comment that Rep. Gutierrez emerged from the immigration meeting on the Dream Act and other related issues with Mr. Obama - "Happy". Mr. Obama is on board with pushing for amnesty through the Dream Act or whatever. Attempts to get something will be coming up next week I believe he mentioned.

Also addressed in the meeting were the 400,000 deportations that occur each year. He says that at least half are not criminals.

Megyn Kelly says that if she chooses to bring her 3 children (hypothetical), isn't it her responsibility. She could choose to return home.

He is mentioning McCain, Brownback, Graham as past supporters of the amnesty attempts. He said that they had comprehensive immigration reform in the past, and mentioned the support of former President Bush.

Most of America doesn't follow this stuff like we do , but they will view this as
an "amnesty" and they won't buy it.

Fox Business Channel covered this too. David Asman had a guest who opposed the Dream Act efforts by Harry Reid. The question for the evening dealt with the Dream Act. The guest also mentioned that the Democrats would try to attach all sorts of things to the Defense Bill, as they did last year with the Hates Crime/Speech inclusion. They have to get their agenda met, and their voters appeased.

Don't you think that this "dream act" should be something that we should be able to vote on? Why is this decision being made without the citizens having any say on this? I mean other than our calling and demonstrating, etc....Its like we don't even really get heard!
