    Fox News this morning

    I was watching Fox News this morning (Fox and Friends) and they were saying that some poll came back saying that 61% of Americans favor letting Illegals staying here if they have been here for 2 years or more. If this is true it is because these Americans are not aware of what is in this bill, or just dont care.

    Apathy will be the death of this country.

    Beware of OBL propaganda - they'll be using a 'full court press' right about now.

    Polling has been covered many times here - but, in short, it just depends on:

    Which questions are asked?
    How the questions are asked?
    If the pollster has a vested interest in a certain outcome...?
    Who funded the poll?
    (etc)

    In general, most of the more experienced polling firms have come to understand the nuances of the terms/language used in asking immigration-reform related questions as to elicit a particular result...

    Just watched the video about the "triggers" linked on the first page. They did mention opponents of the "trigger" idea - like Sen. Grassley and George Will. All smoke and mirrors.
