Freedom has never been so fragile
“Freedom has never been so fragile, so close to slipping from our grasp. Are you willing to spend time studying the issues, making yourself aware, and then conveying that information to family and friends? Will you resist the temptation to get a government handout for your community? Realize that the doctor’s fight against socialized medicine is your fight. We can’t socialize the doctors without socializing the patients. Recognize that government invasion of public power is eventually an assault upon your own business. If some among you fear taking a stand because you are afraid of reprisals from customers, clients, or even government, recognize that you are just feeding the crocodile hoping he’ll eat you last.â€

I don't believe the general public has made the connection yet.
The more we depend on the Federal Government the more freedoms we loose.
It seems scare tatics (GW is a good example of this) has allowed unpresidented repeal of our civil rights and control over our personal freedoms guaranteed by our constitution which GW hates.."A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson

The one thing I can't stand in my life are BUREAUCRATS. People who sit behind the desk, or the phone line, and tell you all the work YOu have to do to obtain their service, or who deny you the service, based on whatever rule they can find.
It's all about CONTROL. They control the People through Socialism. People are not free with that -- that's why I can't figure out how our young people, how anyone for that matter, would go for these types of big gov candidates.
People are as dumb as doorknobs, I guess, I'd say about 50% of the electorate out there is.
