Friday night relax time , HEAVY METAL NIGHT

I feel with the battle coming up the next 3 weeks we need some really kick ass style music
These cuts are some very un commercial Heavy Metal , this stuff you will never hear on any radio station , it is however melodic and very technical
Metal , its not thrash or brain dead music,

The first selection is "BATTALIONS" , An underground band called "Metal Church" was huge in the 80s , but no radio play

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xng0ROEgHYc

The next selection is "DOA" by "Grim Reaper" , While a somewhat commercial band that caped on the "black metal" theme , they had a first rate vocalist and managed to make their music melodic.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmVScq0Tk1Q

Of course DOA stands for Dead on Arrival , which of course we all hope is the dream act

This is a heavy metal band called "MAN O WAR" , A very talented band , pay attention to the bass player , This song is about the Guyana incident and Jim Jones.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpuSXLR8wOI

"Be kind to the children and old people first
Hand them a drink their dying of thirst"
    CLASSIC LINE
    ------------------------------------------------
One of the most intense songs in Metal , from a one hit wonder type
band , Metal Inquisition by Piledriver ,
    A fantastic themed song ,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wbHqC90150

"We sentence you to death by GUILLOTINE"

    -------------------------------------------------

A very rare song by a comic / rock band , Its rare folks
I still have the LP ,
"Metal Head" By Blotto, Buck Dharma from Blue Oyster Cult puts in a
    guest appearance at the end,

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyJSetm6U0k

All the members were Botto , such names as "Cheese Blotto" and Bow Tie Blotto"

    --------------------------------------------------

A one hit wonder that had great potential to go further
    "LEATHERWOLF" , "The Calling"
    Great melodic medal

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SmuvB6ulOc

"Here me callin , Drawn to the Rhyme of the pipers tune"
"Shadows fallin , like the rain on the midnight sun"

You have to work to write this stuff ,, really

    --------------------------------------------------

This last cut is true evil , the band "Razor" is a speed , death metal band
But this cut ................its just ......... The end of the dreams of the reconquistas ....................

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axP9Ju9Nv_4

    Razor ........The End

Please Listen and give me your feedback

    ENJOY
