I saw Emerson Lake and Palmer at the Anaheim convention center one week before they did Cal Jam , There wasn't enough room at the convention center for the flying piano but they still had plenty of effects and the most fantastic music I have every heard , to this day that was the BEST concert I've ever seen , Full quad sound and it was amazing , it was so intense people were wigging out right and left.

His first band was the "NICE" , A song they carried over into ELP was called "KNIFE EDGE" , He would jump on a hammond organ and stick knives between the keys to hold certain notes.
