NCLR CALLS ON RNC TO CONDEMN OFFENSIVE CAMPUS CAMPAIGN AT UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN

Washington, DC – The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the U.S., today expressed deep concern over some proposed campus activities, including “Catch an Illegal Immigrant Day,” being spearheaded by a Republican National Committee (RNC) intern at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, according to a report in today’s Michigan Daily.

“We hope and expect that this abhorrent event is the product of one young and misguided mind and not that of the RNC. We call upon the RNC to condemn and put a stop to any such activities at Michigan or any other college campus,” stated Janet Murguía, NCLR President and CEO.

“But the larger concern is that this incident and a similar one at Penn State earlier this year merely reflect a debate that has spun out of control and succeeded in scapegoating and dehumanizing undocumented immigrants to the point where college kids think of hunting human beings as entertainment,” continued Murguía.

Murguía concluded, “Several weeks ago I issued a call to both political parties to exercise leadership in making sure that their campaign communications do not demonize communities. Today I reiterate that call, and ask the RNC to put an immediate halt to these ugly and divisive tactics.”

This RACIST Hate Group called La Raza needs to shut up. They just do not realize that the more they speak like this the more Americans unify against their agenda.

What is funny is they went right after the RNC. How the big brained Karl Rove ever figured this illegal thing could equal votes for Reps is amazing.

Hopefully they are just figuring out this group that has been invading our country for the last 10-15 years comes from areas in the world with more socialist to communist leanings. They vote whoever will give them the most for nothing or was that give them nothing of the most?

La Raza should have all federal funds pulled and be disbanded. They are about the latin, for the latin, nothing but the latin. They are not about anything else. Nothing for the citizens who have roots (and I mean deep roots) in this country. But they will tell you different.

I seem to recall this "catch an illegal day" taking place here in Dallas at SMU. The press had a field day with pointing out how racists the young Republicans were for doing it. Instead of focusing on the real issue at hand.

They do not believe in the freedom of speech, no, they want people who oppose what they think is right to be silenced, because they have nothing else to back up their campaign of socialism and open borders, so they WHINE like the victims they always claim to be.

So what's next, we won't be able to "say" "illegal aliens", no that will be deemed too offensive for their sensitive, overtly vicitmized ears.

Demonizing communities? Well, Janet, how about not immediately demonizing whole groups of people by calling them racists just because they have legitimate concerns about this out of control problem of illegal immigration?
