Refuting "Compassion Claims"
I just tested this rebuttal out and it kicked butt. When a church person or clergy tells you that they are just trying to be "compassionate" like Jesus go with this.
Compassionate? By supporting a corrupt policy that attracks workers thousands of miles from their homes only to be exploited, payed dirt cheap wages, given no benefits and treated unfairly only to be Deported by the Government and have their family torn apart? Where is the compassion in that?
Did you know that there are jobs in Mexico being filled by illegal aliens from South America? Do you know about the escalating drug wars along the border where the cartels are murdering human smugglers to take over their territory? Did you know the 20 billion in remittances Mexico gets from illegal aliens in the USA just goes into the pockets for the wealthy and does little to balance the class system which shows little to no middle class?
And you support this? This is compassion?
Compassion would be to put pressure on Mexico and their people to fix their land and their problems and to keep their labor at home to help the economy.

Compassion??? No way. No bleepin' way!!!!
How can I feel compassion for criminals? How can I feel compassion for greedy people who thingk only of themselves and are willing to use and abuse and walk all over Americans??
How can I feel compassion for leeches...for people who can't take care of themselves...for BEGGARS who have no dignity or pride? How can I feel compassion for people who hate my country and hate me?
I feel NO compassion. None whatsoever. If they're here illegally, then they deserve to be exploited and used. I don't give a damn what anybody does to them. I lost all compassion a long time ago. At this point I hate them...hate their begging...hate their neediness...hate their arrogance...hate their stupidity...hate their lack of integrity...hate THEIR lack of compassion for ME....and I could go on and on.Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

If somebody uses religion/compassion as an argument I have two replies:
1. The bible tells us to respect not only Gods law, but the law of man as well. So, to do the holy thing is to respect our current immigration laws
2. I am all for compassion, I'm a very charitable person. I do recognize though that the burden put on our system by illegal immigrants drains money from our economy that could support refugee's, lawful immigrants, and people within our country that need help. Either we can amestize 12 to 20 million lawbreakers and lose our ability to ever help anybody else, or we can go about it smart and continue to support those lawful people who are truly in need.
ps...this only works on somebody that actually thinks. This argument will not work on somebody that just wants to fill pew's and collection plates, or rope in the next generation to continue/grow their faith base.

Well this--in this morning's MSNBC--gives the real lowdown on US compassion. Even I was astounded:
