    I like this guy from Cornell University (Prof. Briggs)

    "Every country on the planet is a 'nation of immigrant's"

    I see Steven Camarota from the CIS in the background to Mr. Briggs right too (face down, reading something apparently).

    Michael Yaki - from US Commission on Civil Rights - but is taking a very stand-off-ish point of view; 'rhetorical scare language', etc. 'if we're going to have a discourse, we need to have a more reasoned language, etc.'

    I think I see Carol Swain (who wrote a book on immigration and makes frequent appearances on Lou Dobbs as well) in the background view of Prof. Jaynes from Yale.

    It looks like for a relatively non high-profile hearing that a lot of big players in DC showed up.
