California Republican Party
Proposition 91

The California Republican Party has taken no position on Proposition 91.

No on Proposition 92 – Wasteful Spending

Proposition 92 would amend California’s constitution to lock in a huge new state spending mandate – with no way to pay for it. The California Legislative Analyst’s Office estimates the increased spending will reach nearly a billion dollars in the first three years. Politicians would be left to decide how to fund the measure. They could raise taxes or they could cut other critical programs like health care, public safety and education funding, including K-12, and state universities. Vote NO ON 92

No on Proposition 93 – Extends Term Limits for Sacramento Politicians

Proposition 93 is a phony reform measure designed to lengthen the amount of time Sacramento politicians can spend in office. This initiative undermines term limits, allowing 42 termed out legislators to extend their time in office. Preserve term limits, vote NO ON 93.

Yes on Propositions 94 – 97 – Revenues for California

Propositions 94 – 97 ratify Indian gaming compacts negotiated by Governor Schwarzenegger and four Southern California Indian tribes. Senator Tom McClintock urges a Yes vote on 94 – 97. These compacts will produce billions of dollars of new revenue for the state of California without increasing taxes, fees or debt while sustaining Indian tribes self-reliance. The compacts are good for California and good for the tribes. Vote YES on 94 – 97.
Is Prop 94 - 97 considered big government issues for the CRP?
