A key prosecution witness in Florida’s neighborhood-watch murder trial went on a Twitter-scrubbing spree, deleting posts that painted her as a foul-mouthed, hard-partying teen.
The Smoking Gun reported that 19-year Rachel Jeantel, testifying today against murder defendant George Zimmerman, deleted at least 57 tweets between yesterday and today.
Most of Jeantel’s tweets had coarse language and described her love of drinking, smoking and getting high.
She’s testifying about a phone call she received by Trayvon Martin, moments before he was killed by neighborhood watch volunteer Zimmerman.

The defense claims Zimmerman was only defending himself against Martin. Prosecutors contend that Zimmerman racially profiled the young African American Martin and sparked the deadly tussle.
Jeantel seemed to admit to impaired driving on Feb. 24 with the deleted tweet: “Party time let get high.”
Other killed tweets that day included “Omg everybody high” and “Lol we going to hell for smoke on Sunday I need some more drink.”
She also added: “I hope I dnt hit no one tonight lord plz watch my driving.”
The next day, she wrote in a now-deleted tweet: “Just got home thank u lord good night.”
The witness regularly referred to her pals as “bitch” and “n---a,” and wrote about having “jackass lawyers on my ass.”
Martin was killed on Feb. 26, 2012, after he left his father’s Sanford, Fla., home to get snacks from a local store.

A resident of the Florida community where George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin last year told jurors Friday afternoon how he encountered a bloodied Zimmerman immediately after the confrontation and took pictures of the murder defendant's injuries.
State witness Joe Manalo testified that he took the photos with his cell phone that showed blood on Zimmerman's lip and scalp.
"He had blood running down his nose from both nostrils and over his lips," Manalo told Prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda . . .
