If memory serves this was legislation that would not require Home Depot to build day labor centers for illegal aliens. The question posed to Sen. Isakson was if the current bill in the Senate would stop illegal immigration, why the need for his amendment.

Sam I may be wrong, but earlier today on Neil Cuvato he was arguing with a Southern Cal. latino professor that congress should not be able to tell Home Depot or any other independent company they have to take care of illegals by providing them with shelter, etc.
Also they mentioned the president of "Pilgrim's Pride" sitting in Saxby Chambliss's office telling him to pass this bill.
