LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The San Francisco Giants fan who was severely beaten at opening day at Dodger Stadium has suffered a setback.
Bryan Stow had been showing some progress, but a recurrence of seizures Saturday prompted doctors to put him back in a medically-induced coma to help reduce the seizure activity.
Stow remains in critical condition and doctors plan to continue monitoring him closely in the coming days.
His family remains at his bedside.
Meanwhile, police are still looking for the two suspects responsible for the beating. Anyone with information is urged to call the LAPD tip line at (877) LAPD-24-7.

This poor man! Even if he lives, his life has been taken from him. Those thugs who beat him so mercilessly have taken him from his family. He will never be the same. So so sad!

It figures
It is so true that if the victim is nonwhite and the perp is a white then it’s a hate crime. Anytime it’s the other way around it’s just a crime. The white guy is screwed either way.

Bud Selig says MLB will run Dodgers
Bud Selig says MLB will run Dodgers NEW YORK -- Major League Baseball is taking the extraordinary step of assuming control of the Los Angeles Dodgers, a team increasingly paralyzed by the bitter divorce of owners Frank and Jamie McCourt.Once among baseball's glamour franchises, the Dodgers have been consumed by infighting since Jamie McCourt filed for divorce after 30 years of marriage in October 2009, one week after her husband fired her as the team's chief executive. Frank McCourt accused Jamie of having an affair with her bodyguard-driver and performing poorly at work.Baseball commissioner Bud Selig said in a release Wednesday that he will appoint a representative to oversee the "business and the day-to-day operations of the Club."
"I have taken this action because of my deep concerns regarding the finances and operations of the Dodgers and to protect the best interests of the club," Selig said Wednesday in a statement.
The Los Angeles Times reported this week that Frank McCourt had arranged a $30 million loan from Fox, the team's television partner. Selig has not approved a new longterm contract between team and Fox, and the Times said the money was needed to make payroll.
Selig said he will appoint his representative within a few days.
"My office will continue its thorough investigation into the operations and finances of the Dodgers and related entities during the period of Mr. McCourt's ownership," Selig said. "The Dodgers have been one of the most prestigious franchises in all of sports, and we owe it to their legion of loyal fans to ensure that this club is being operated properly now and will be guided appropriately in the future."
Selig's move might be seen by some as a precedent should the New York Mets have additional financial problems. With owners Fred Wilpon and Saul Katz under pressure from a lawsuit tied to the Bernard Madoff swindle, the Mets borrowed $25 million last year from Major League Baseball. Unlike the McCourts, Wilpon is a longtime friend of Selig.

Sketches of Dodger Stadium assault suspects
Updated: 05/13/2011 07:21:36 AM PDT
The first of hundreds of billboards showing police sketches of two men who assaulted a San Francisco Giants fan after the opening- day game at Dodger Stadium were installed today. A $100,000 reward is being offered for their capture.
Lamar Advertising donated the billboard space in hopes of generating tips leading to the men who attacked Bay Area resident Bryan Stow. Police said Stow, who was wearing Giants attire, was attacked without provocation by two men wearing Dodgers gear in a stadium parking lot.
Lamar spokeswoman Luly Armienta told ABC7 that with the Giants scheduled to play again at Dodger Stadium next week, the company "felt it necessary to remind the public that these assailants are still out there, and if we have the boards available, why not?"
She told the station the company would install 200 billboards today, and 100 more by the end of the month.
Stow remains hospitalized at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. His family reported on its website that Stow has shown signs of improvement in recent days -- enough so that they are considering having him transferred to a hospital closer to home, possibly UC San Francisco Medical Center.
"Bryan is down to six anti-seizure medications," according to a Wednesday post on the family's website. "He has been moving more, which tells us that the sedation is wearing off. He has a lot of eye movement under his eyelids and his mouth is moving more. Could be involuntary ... but we'll take it."
The suspects in the attack were described as between 18 and 25 years old. According to the composite sketches released by police, the two suspects had shaved heads. Both had thin mustaches and one also had a small goatee. The second suspect had numerous tattoos on his neck.
The men approached Stow and began kicking and punching him while yelling profanities about the Giants, police said. Stow fell to the pavement, and the two men repeatedly kicked him in the head.
The attackers fled in a light-colored, four-door car driven by a woman with a young boy inside, authorities said.
