A wisp of fresh air from Washington. Look at the general common sense off those supporting Keystone. Coats and McConnell for it but not for un-funding illegal amnesties. I would not trust those two to help me cross the street! The aquifers of the Midwest, especially Nebr., need protecting, too. No brainer.

“The Senate’s failure to override President Obama’s veto is a defeat for our economy and American workers," Indiana GOP Sen. Dan Coats said after the vote. "Obama and a majority of Senate Democrats have said no to creating new jobs and increasing our energy security. Despite support from the majority of Americans, this important pro-growth project remains in political paralysis.”
Okay, let's take a look at this. The Keystone pipeline is going to give 40,000 American workers jobs of a temporary nature (lasting a couple years). Now, let's look at what Obama's illegal immigration plan will do. His plan will legalize up to 5 million illegals, making them eligible to take jobs from American workers. Now I ask you, is there any question where our priorities should be? Why didn't Republican leadership fight against Obama on his amnesty plan with the same enthusiasm they are fighting for the Keystone pipleline?

Hmm, Obama's amnesty means 5 million jobs lost to American workers and the Keystone pipeline means a gain of 40,000 temporary jobs for American workers. Now, answer me this, if jobs for Americans are so important to the Congress, how is it that the Keystone pipleline can get bipartisan support and stopping Obama's amnesty couldn't?
