On FOX News Tuesday night, Sen. Chuck Grassley stated again that one thing which would prevent passage of the Obama Administration's Healthcare legislation would be for the "American people to "rare (rear) up again" as they did during the Town Hall meetings in August through writing and calling their Representatives and by possibly organizing further Town Hall meetings to make their voices heard.

I think Sen. Grassley himself had not realized the amount of passion which people feel about this issue until he attended his own Town Hall meetings in Iowa. Healthcare affects every person in the United States; we are told it is one-sixth of our economy. The mainstream media is constantlly telling us now that public support for a "public option" is rising as the August Town Hall meeting fade from memory. Whatever your beliefs, this is the time to make your voices heard!

Sen Grassley was one of three Republican members of the "Gang of Six"
which negotiated the healthcare bill now known as the "Baucus" or the "Finance" bill which passed the Senate Finance Committee. While it does not contain a public option , it now is being merged with a House bills which does.

(For those who may not know, this expression refers to a horse "rearing up" on its hind legs, which often results in throwing a mounted rider.)
