I Just Returned From The Border! My Experience w/ Minutemen!

    Hello Fellow ALIPACERS,

I'm from VA and my friend is from MD, and we drove cross country on the 9th and 10th to Falfurrias, TX to help the Minutemen on some south Texas ranches. We helped them on the 11th, 12th, and 13th, and then drove home. It was a heck of a long drive, but it was a bit of a vacation for us. A 'working' vacation, I guess you could say!

I saw first-hand how aliens and coyotes (smugglers) and drug smugglers are destroying our nation. Illegals trespass on the local ranches to avoid a local Border Patrol station, and then are picked up at a local rest stop or along the side of the road by Coyotes. So, we were deploying on the ranches to spot them, and call them in to the Border Patrol.

The illegals leave tons of trash on the ranches, and the coyotes (some of them) are known to rob and/or rape the female illegals, who have trusted them to get them across the border, and into cities such as Houston and San Antonio. Sudanese money and Korans have been found among the illegals discarded items on the ranches. You see, not all of the aliens are Mexican or Central American. In fact, a few weeks ago, the Minutemen, during one of their mini-weekend watches, helped spot a group of nine Chinese. Yes, people from all across the world are coming across.

The worst of it was when we patrolled one local ranch, and we found out that the ranch used to be populated by a husband and wife, but the husband passed away, and the wife was too scared to continue living there because of the illegal traffic, so she moved, and now the ranch is all but abandoned! That is such a sad story; it brings tears (and anger) to me, all at the same time!

But, the Minutemen (MCDC) operating in Falfurrias, TX are doing a tremendous job! They are NOT the racists that the mainstream media paints them to be! They are compassionate, caring people who are doing what our Goverment will not do. Most were over 50, and quite vigorous, intelligent, and articulate. There were alot of Minutewomen, too, and they were going out in the field, with the men.

This time, the Minutemen have helped spot nearly ten smugglers, and the Border Patrol and local police have caught these scumbags. Last October, from what I understand, no smugglers were caught. This time, in the first two weeks, nearly ten were caught. This is great news!

The Minutemen are forcing the illegals to make wide, wide diversions, thus making it harder for them to meet up with the Coyotes in their cars. This is costing the Coyotes tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue, and it shows that with a bunch of eyes watching for illegal activity, this invasion can be harrassed and even shut down.

PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO GO TO THE BORDER, WHETHER IT'S IN TEXAS, ARIZONA, NEW MEXICO, CALIFORNIA, OR CANADA!!!!! If my friend and I could make the two day drive from Baltimore, you can certainly go for a day or two, or a week...especially if you live in one of the border states. It's good to donate to the Minutemen and ALIPAC with your money...very good...but now take the extra step and volunteer to go to the border. It will open your eyes! And, you'll meet some of the most interesting, down-to-earth people ever. You CAN make a difference. Make it a priority. We as Americans need to stand up for what is right, and you can do that THIS MONTH. Don't wait! Do it now!

As long as the woman who legally owns the property gave permission I don't see why they couldn't.

I Just Returned From The Border! My Experience w/ The Minute

It is too bad that this widow's ranch can't be a base for the Minutemen to the point where she can return to live there. How terrible for someone to have to worry about illegals using their property to cross over to America.

Outstanding Ostrich and thank you so much for being brave and courageous American; telling the truth about the Minute Men; feeling compassion for the Americans suffering on the front lines of this hideous disgusting despicable invasion; and for making that long drive with your friend and donating your time to securing our borders.

That is great news that they caught smugglers!!

    YIPPEE YI YO!!!

We really to need to get moving on our Wall of Americans...40,000 strong with 20 Americans to guard every mile of the 2000 mile southern border and once that's set up do the same thing on the Canadian Border.

At $20 an hour plus benefits and health insurance, we'd have all the Americans we could possibly need signing up faster than we would say "and the rockets red glare" and we would grind this criminal business of illegal immigration to a halt.

Lets Demand funding for a Wall of Americans....to operate basically the same way the Minute Men do...with the simple assignment...no one gets in.

The annual cost is around $2 Billion which would pay for itself 100 times over!!

Canadian border? A bit too politically correct IMHO.
The illegals who arrive in Canada usually do so from our own shores, they're not likely to cross back over here, once there. And we haven't quite come to the crisis stage with Canadians flocking to US except to buy our cheap (to them) gas at the border towns up north.

Stationing thousands of Americans at a border with which we have miniscule problems would be counterproductive. More likely we might attempt to keep OUR illegals from crossing to Canada. Or maybe we should encourage Illegals to go there. Canada is one huge empty land in large part.
We could print up a cute cartoon booklet, provide warm clothing and mosquito repellent, and teach illegals some basic Canadian expressions such as "Hi, eh?"

Thank you, Ostrich, for going. I have wanted so much to go...since it was first announced last year I've been off the walls wanting to go...but...dang it...We have no one to watch over our own ranch if we leave.

We raise horses, Colonial Spanish Mustangs....they can't just be left out here without any sort of supervision....and the watch dogs have to be fed and watered...etc...a long list of chores must be accomplished on a daily basis...only the two of us to do it....

So, congratulations to all who can go...and my thanks.
