U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo -- the recent one-note presidential candidate -- today issued a statement responding to complaints by legislators from Mexico about immigrants self-deporting to Mexico. (See our earlier post.) In the process he brainstormed an idea that, well, only Tancredo could come up with. Here's part of his statement:

Tancredo pointed out that in 2005, the Mexican government actually produced and distributed copies of a "Guia del Migrante Mexicano" (Guide for the Mexican Immigrant) which contained "practical advice" for Mexicans on how to safely sneak into the United States.

The guide contained tips on everything from crossing rivers and navigating the desert to ones "rights" as an illegal alien if apprehended. The booklet is widely available online. This increased the flow of illegal aliens into the United States - illegal aliens who will be returning to Mexico through Sonora as enforcement efforts in the U.S. intensify.

"Perhaps the Department of Homeland Security and Government Printing Office can return Mexico's 2005 favor and help local officials in Sonora cope with the influx of returning Mexicans," said Tancredo. "We can develop a 'Guide for the Returning Illegal Alien' packed with helpful information like how to get back to various points in Mexico from the U.S. border, and a reminder that illegally immigrating is, well, illegal - and has consequences."

Tancredo said he is exploring the option of drafting legislation to authorize the production of the booklets.

Too bad his idea will probably not get government funding because it wouldn't be considered.....well....politically correct. And, in the truest form of that phrase

However, there's no stopping anyone from privately publishing such a guide

You can't help but like this guy.........Tancredo......he's the best!

This is already under way with the newest arrivals in S.Fl. and Miami . They are the legal and illegal citizens from Venezuela .

They re proud, pompus and demanding ,' sound familiar ' but they are also well educated and well off on the most part ,speak english. They left because of the idiot Chevez . Some came on vacation and never left others got visas, but the spanish in Miami don't like the new ' invaders ' ,lol .

They are now planning on taking the city by politics and elections .

Either way us nationals can kiss goodby our east and west coast tropical paradise . But at least it will be somewhat entertaining to see the two fighting over our homelands . I bet on the ones who came in on the planes, not the tube riders .

Here's an English translation of that Mexican Government guide.

I think that every departing illegal alien headed back to Mexico should be given a "bon voyage" package. That package would contain:

1. A copy of U.S. Immigration laws, and the penalties of breaking them.
2. An autographed picture of Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
3. A copy of Tom Tancredo's book: "In Mortal Danger" (the Spanish version, of course).
4. An itemized bill for services rendered and paid for by U.S. taxpayers while the illegals were residing illegally in the U.S.
5. A U.S. Birth Certificate marked "null and void" for every child born to a parent or parents residing in the U.S. illegally.

And last but defintely not least....a lovely pair of pink underwear

The cubans by and large don't like any other ethnic of latino. They want Miami all to themselves.
