WHAT: Senator Hagan to hold satellite office hours

Today, August 25, U.S. Senator Kay R. Hagan (D-NC) will spend the second day of her five-day tour of North Carolina at Fort Bragg. She will visit the US Army Special Operations Command and will be hosted by Lieutenant General John Mulholland, Jr. Hagan, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, most recently visited Fort Bragg on April 8 for the XVIII Airborne Corps' welcome home ceremony.

This evening, Hagan will hold her inaugural satellite office hours in Sanford. Hagan will meet with constituents who need help with federal agencies. She will also be available to discuss the issues Congress is tackling in Washington. Hagan will meet with constituents on a first come, first serve basis.

In the coming weeks and months, Hagan will continue to hold office hours in communities across the state to help North Carolinians who need assistance or want to discuss topics that concern them. The office hours will allow constituents to engage in meaningful discussions with Hagan about the important issues facing North Carolina and America.

Today, Hagan is meeting with local elected officials in Wilmington and Goldsboro, touring Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston and discussing the importance of agriculture and farming in North Carolina at the NC Agribusiness Council.
