They can say what they want to say about Cesar Chavez but he was against immigration because he knew it would destroy the wages of the farm workers.

So is Hugo Chavez against immigration. In fact, Chavez is against the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas....he thinks free trade agreements like that threaten the sovereignty of nations. He is also opposed to New World Order and One World Government. He is not the bad apple many make him out to be. He calls Vincente Fox...a Bush Puppy.

Obviously Bush despises him because Chavez formed a coalition of Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uraguay to DEFEAT implementation of the FTAA last year.

Americans actually owe Hugo Chavez a great deal of gratitude for stopping Bush's FTAA which would bind the United States with all of South America on an Open Borders free-flow of people, labor and goods basis.

Bush is really disappointed he didn't get to wipe US out last year on schedule. He's running abit behind now on his One World Government...thanks to these South American nations led by Hugo Chavez.

Hugo Chavez supports Hezbolla, they operate freely there. All of his "friends" are not ours.

    Really? I'd not heard that.

Well, we still owe him for stopping the FTAA or Hezbollah wouldn't be roaming around in Venezuela, they'd be freely roaming here.

Cesar Chavez opposed illegal immigration; HUGO Chavez supports every conceivable enemy of the US against us, including terrorist groups and Iran. He hates this country with a passion and will take any action, make any alliance, he sees as furthering his goal of undermining the US. He is a Castro mini me, only more dangerous because he has the benefit of Venezuela's vast oil reserves, the profits of which he uses in ways that, shall we say, are not in America's best interests.

He does oppose globalization, but so does much of the far left. That does not mean they have the best interests of America at heart. They have their own agenda, most of which is not good for the US.

Well actually, that isn't really true. You have to remember that Bush pulled a failed coup d'etat on Chavez when he was first elected and raised such a stink with the OAS that Chavez had to run for office....again....under the "monitoring" of the OAS. He won his second election with more votes than the first one. He's only been in office about 3.5 years and with the US undermining him from the GitGo...I can certainly understand his dislike for Bush and this Administration.

Then you have to also remember that Pat Robertson, BushCultist Puppet suggested that we just assassinate Chavez and get rid of him.

So I can certainly understand his dislike for some Americans who supported that position.

As to hating America or the American People?

There is absolutely no evidence of that.

They have major investments in the US through CitGo. We have major oil ventures in Venezuela.

He's busy doing things trying to improve his country and that's what he's supposed to be doing.

There may be a dark side to Chavez.

But any dark side to Chavez would pale compared to the dark side of the Wackident.

Chavez has invaded no nation; started no war; and caused no suffering anywhere.

He is even helping Cuba with their economic development by giving them low cost oil in exchange for Cuban Doctors moving to Venezuela to help set up more medical clinics and hospitals throughout the country.
