Hall & Oates defined an era when they first came out and their music leaned toward the nonsensical, was safe for kids and fun to say the least. Their music was the backdrop to many sing-alongs in car rides on long trips. They WERE a piece of Americana.
So, I let them know what I thought of their un-American stance on the illegal immigration issue. They would have been better off just going ahead with the concert and keeping their political BS to themselves, but since they decided to make a public spectacle of their political leanings I feel it's only fair to tell them what my leanings are, which I did in an email to their manager.
No matter how badly their music may sound to your ears, everyone in this movement needs to stick up for the USA and for Arizona's right to protect itself from this ILLEGAL Mexican invasion. Show some solidarity with Arizona by contacting Hall & Oates or their management team and tell them and educate them on the truth that I'm sure they know nothing about.
Here's an excerpt of my email....
.... just heard that Hall & Oates took a stance to side with criminals who think it's okay to break into this country illegally and live here off the backs of honest, hard working, law abiding Americans, many of whom made Hall & Oates a household name!
Like so many other Americans, I have lost my livelihood, my retirement and a couple of loved ones to this illegal invasion and the violence thrust upon the USA by illegal alien gang bangers, child molesters, rapists and murderers pouring over the border via Mexico.
You guys live in a bubble and aren't out there in the trenches daily, being forced to deal with illegal aliens and the violence they bring with them into our neighborhoods like the average American Joe. You really need to know what you are standing up against before you take a foolish stand like "boycotting" an American city under seige and thumbing your nose at a governor who is doing the job she is supposed to be doing, protecting the borders of her state and protecting her citizens against the violence that is spilling over the Mexican border into the USA thru California, Arizona and Texas....states that are America's first line of defense against the outside forces that want to do this country harm!
....Why don't you guys move your dog & pony show to Mexico, start cranking out your music in Spanish and replace your pony with a donkey to represent the asses you truly seem to have become in your OLD AGE! You're obviously NOT AMERICANS!.
.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
