Thread: Hand Out Flyers

I was at grocery today and noticed a woman with 4 kids in a fairly new car . She didn't look hispanic but spoke in foreign language so did her kids .

Also I saw lots of people going in and out of store . And I was thinking this would be a good place to give out flyers . There is a printing company in town that has a printer you can use at your discretion .

I almost got out of car and ask the shoppers what they thought of illegals and give this this and other site names . But I didn't .

What do yall think of this idea . I know the billboards didn't go over too good .

I had printed up 500 flyers before about 5 yr.s ago . I went to a college campus and handed them out but there was no interest then . Most acted like I was some kind of wierdo . Maybe older people will think about it ?

Good flyers are a good way to spread info easily, keep in your car. When you see a home with american flag put flyer on their doorstep.

Flyers are an excellent way to get out information.

You can include on them the link for this site, numbersusa, american patrol, etc.

If people are not interested, they will just tell you that they are not interested.

Hey yall I was asking if we should all do it ! Almost everyone goes to grocery store or mall .

I need some help with this and some commitment from others here who will do the same in their hometowns .

We can share stories . Lets start next week, pick a date .

And of course we will put websites on the flyers too .

We can start with just a couple hundred a week to cut back on exspenses . Some may have copy machine at home to use . Keep them in your car ad you can hand them out at every opportunity .

Thats what i did before but got frustrated with nobody listening or helping so I quit .

We will also have to make sure that we don't invovle ALIPAC and other sites in any legal stuff so it has to be worded right .

I started out "small" with an ALIPAC bumper sticker (see "ALIPAC Store Update" under Announcements here). To organize a "flyer campaign", I think you are right about getting approval on some sort of standardized wording authorized by the organization(s) you reference to make sure there are no legal difficulties. At one point, I believe ALIPAC had a flyer you could print off for this purpose? Maybe they still do and Dixie or someone else will please help by coming on and reminding us where to find it? I really applaud your willingness to get people interested in doing this as a large group effort!

FLYERS ARE AN EXCELLENT IDEA. ONE GOOD WAY TO DISTRIBUTE FLYERS IS TO LEAVE THEM IN COFFEE SHOPS. JUST ASK THE OWNER IF IT IS OK.

ANOTHER PLACE ARE THOSE BOARDS YOU SEE IN LAUNDROMATS. JUST PIN ONE UP THERE.

LAST AND BEST ARE LIGHT POLES NEAR CROSS WALKS. PEOPLE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE LIGHT TO CHANGE AND IF THE FLYER IS RIGHT THERE....THEY SEE IT. IT HAS TO BE EASY TO READ. DONT USE PAPER THAT IS A DARK OR EVEN MEDIUM COLOR. USE PASTEL AND LIGHT COLORS WITH BLACK LETTERING. COVER THE FLYER WITH PLASTIC SO IF IT RAINS IT WILL STAY THERE.

DONT PIN IT TO THE POST. USE TAPE. TAPE THE ENTIRE CIRCUMFRENCE OF THE POLE AT THE TOP OF THE FLYER AND AT THE BOTTOM. JUST START AT THE MIDDLE OF THE TOP OF THE FLYER WITH TAPE AND GO AROUND THE POLE TILL YOU GET TO THE MIDDLE OF THE FLYER AGAIN. THE SAME AT THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE FLYER. IT WONT BLOW AWAY AND THE PLASTIC WILL PROTECT IT FROM THE WEATHER.

BUT PLEASE NOTE. IN SOME CITIES YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POST ON PUBLIC PROPERTY. SO YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT THE LAWS IN YOUR CITY REGARDING POSTING ON CITY PROPERTY. IN MOST CITIES YOU CAN DO IT.

The flyers are a great idea...if millions of Americans put out flyers it would be an awesome way to advertise. I'm in.

I'M IN TOO. I HAVE POSTED FLYERS IN MY AREA FOR MANY DIFFERENT ISSUES. I KNOW JUST WHERE TO PUT THEM.

Someone come up with wording . Short and sweet or people won't take time to read it .

YOUR LOSING AMERICA , HELP TAKE IT BACK .

TAKE BACK YOUR COUNTRY AND CHILDRENS FUTURE .

SPEAK OUT WHILE YOU SILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK OUT .
