Harry Reid condemns Bundy for saying Obama’s light-skin helped him become president

H2 Note: For all those out there now ATTACKING Cliven Bundy, my one question to you is WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON, Harry Reid's or Rand Pauls? You can't have it both ways. (Hint: THEY ARE BOTH ON THE SAME SIDE)

Harry Reid condemns Bundy for saying Obama’s light-skin and non-negro dialect helped him become president…

Oh wait! Bundy didn’t say that at all. That was what Harry Reid said about Obama in 2008, meaning he thought Obama was white enough to be president.

So take that into consideration when you read below that Harry Reid is calling on Republican leaders to publicly condemn Cliven Bundy:

POLITICO – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has called Cliven Bundy a “hateful racist” and has urged Republican leaders to condemn him.
“Today, Bundy revealed himself to be a hateful racist,” Reid said in a statement released Thursday.

“This is not a game,” the statement said. “It is the height of irresponsibility for any individual or entity in a position of power or influence to glorify or romanticize such a dangerous individual, and anyone who has done so should come to their senses and immediately condemn Bundy. For their part, national Republican leaders could help show a united front against this kind of hateful, dangerous extremism by publicly condemning Bundy.”

I’ll make a deal with hypocrite Harry. I’ll condemn Cliven Bundy publicly when he condemns Billionaire Tom Steyer on the Senate floor for using his money to stop the Keystone Pipeline.

I have seen the New York Times quotations attributed to Cliven Bundy, and the only overtly racists remarks he has supposedly said are THE WORDS THE HARD LEFT HAS PUT INTO HIS MOUTH. Then there is the fearless Sean Hannity waxing indignantly, no doubt crapping in pants, worried about loosing his big money job at Fox news if he does not join the chorus denouncing Bundy. Hannity's amnesty supporting boss Roger Ailes no doubts does not want the hot potato of racism thrown at Fox, it's bad for ratings.

Sit Sean, sit -- good doggie.

Dear HAPPY2BEME: I'll go you one better, how about Harry Reid denouncing his boss Baroque Obama for sitting for 20 years in the pews of the fiercely America hating "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's "church?"

Harry Reid is trying to deflect the attention from himself. I think that Mr. Bundy is a victim of his own self importance a bit of a blowhard and manipulative. While his comments are not acceptable in polite society, the actions of the BLM are not excusable ither. Killing the cattle, that they were supposed to be gathering is inexcusable since the animals were shot from the air and shot multiple times, slaughterhouses kill more humanely. PETA certainly showed its true colors in its response to the animal cruelty perpetrated on the animals.
By starting the race word storm, the actions of the government are deflected. Bundy's comments are offensive but they seem to mirror those of Senator Reid himself. Senator Reid apologized for his similar comments when he was caught but he has apologized for several things that he has been caught saying and doing over the years but his agenda doesn't change.

Reid Once Called Obama Light-skinned With 'No Negro Dialect', Media Mostly Mum

Back in 2008, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) referred to then presidential candidate Barack Obama as a light-skinned African American with no Negro dialect.

Such is in Mark Halperin and John Heilemann's soon to be released book "Game Change" and was reported by the Atlantic's Marc Ambinder Friday.

According to LexisNexis and Google news searches, this revelation, posted by Ambinder at his Politics blog, received very little attention from America's Obama-loving media:

On page 37, a remark, said "privately" by Sen. Harry Reid, about Barack Obama's racial appeal. Though Reid would later say that he was neutral in the presidential race, the truth, the authors write, was that his "

encouragement of Obama was unequivocal. He was wowed by Obama's oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama -- a "light-skinned" African American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one," as he said privately. Reid was convinced, in fact, that Obama's race would help him more than hurt him in a bid for the Democratic nomination.
From what I can tell, until Reid issued an apology Saturday, Ambinder's find received little attention.
The Washington Post reported moments ago:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) apologized today for referring to President Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect" in private conversations during the 2008 presidential campaign.
"I deeply regret using such a poor choice of words," said Reid in a statement. "I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African Americans for my improper comments."

The Associated Press and other outlets are now also beginning to cover the story.

But where were they on Friday?

Is this a fine example of media waiting to reveal embarrassing information about a Democrat until the weekend, or did they want to wait for a comment from Reid?

Either way, it's a metaphysical certitude such a delay wouldn't have occurred if the Majority Leader was a Republican.

*****Update: Ed Morrissey notes, "When Trent Lott made a foolish statement at Strom Thurmond’s birthday party about his presidential run on a segregation tick, the media outcry forced Lott to resign his leadership position. Will this more explicit insult create any consequences for Reid?"

SHUT UP, HARRY: The Duplicitous Harry Reid Also Used the Word ‘Negro’

    By Clash Daily / 25 April 2014

Democratic Senate majority leader Harry Reid on Thursday strongly condemned Cliven Bundy, a constituent and rancher in Nevada, for his widely-reported offensive comments about African-Americans.

“Today, Bundy revealed himself to be a hateful racist,” Reid said in a statement provided by his office.

Reid has found himself in a media firestorm over racial comments before. In 2010, the book “Game Change” reported that Reid had praised President Obama, before he was elected, as someone who is “light skinned” and has “no Negro dialect.”

Following an uproar over those comments, Reid apologized.

They always have to pull the race card on everyone, when things don't go their way. Now to me that is indefensible. Now tell me what Harry and his team did was indefensible, was it not???

This would not b the first time that "creative editing" has been used by the socialist media. Remember Trayvon Martin?
HOAX EXPOSED: Full Clip Of Cliven Bundy’s Non-Racist, Pro-Black, Pro-Mexican, Anti-Government Remarks Vs. NYTimes’ Deceptively Edited Version

SEE THAT CLIVEN BUNDY IS ACTUALLY AN ADVOCATE FOR BLACKS, HISPANICS
Watch Bundy explain how we need to keep things from going backwards for blacks, and how the Federal government has created a neo-slave class via entitlement dependency that is so bad it is arguably worse than plantation slavery was. It is 100% clear that Cliven Bundy is not saying that blacks should be slaves picking cotton, but that the Federal government has created conditions for them so terrible, that their current situation may actually be worse. (If you are person of low intelligence, the fact that that is his point might be too hard for you to understand.) And he’s not blaming blacks for the issues of abortions, and crime and broken families, he’s blaming the Feds. This is the exact opposite of a racist, this is an advocate for the welfare and best interests of blacks. And just as importantly, you’ll at the end of the video he gives passionate praise and defense of hispanic illegal aliens, lauding them for “better family structures than most white peoples’” Racist? Why is he praising Mexicans as better than whites, if he’s some sort of white supremacist racist?. Take a hike all you lying, character-assassinating, leftist pieces of dog shit.
