I have also wondered at the hypocrisy of this.

The first thing an ilegal does as soon as he/she get the money is purchase an automobile!

These are people who have no concept of recycling, conservation, etc.

Americans are constantly being billed as the cause of global warming, and the destruction of the planet. Yet those self same people, want to create more consumers by bringing them here.


The Republicans want to pretend we are waging a war on Terror - yet they want the borders open and now want to give amnesty to anyone.

While the majority may be from Mexico and points south, these illegals are from everywhere.

How many terrorists are we giving the key to the city?

When these illegals get more access to our government (hard to imagine more - but they will), are the supporters of this going to weep and wail when the country goes to pot?

right, more illegals means more gas being used.

Population increase create jobs. We have 12-20 million illegal immigrants in this country and still we need more workers because there are jobs available to be filled.
We could migrate all of Mexico’s population and we would still need more workers because we will have to produce more food, housing, schools and services to meet the needs of the increase in population. There would be no end to the need for workers. This has to stop somewhere or we will run out of land to produce food and build houses and our natural resources, like water, will be depleted.

Demand drives prices up and wages down because when demand goes up it cause shortages in supplies. Lettuce is higher than ever and not cheaper.
The cost of everything is going up because of demand which create shortage.

In addition to all the right-on comments in this thread . . . For years I've been waiting for environmentalist groups to have a go at illegals who trash the desert when they are sneaking into the country.

Wouldn't that be nice! I would also love to hear this as well. We should all start sending the videos from the Minuteman website to the Sierra club and other environmentalist groups. I'd like to see them argue that!

The Sierra Club and others have know about this for years. They just close their eyes, because to say anything would not be PC and anti-immigrant. In other words they are spineless.

I don't know, in California, 70% of our population growth is due to illegal aliens and anchor babies. The other 30% is due to legal immigration. Maybe he thinks anchor babies are legal immigration?
